Inexpensive Markers
After experiencing a shortage of permanent markers recently, I decided to do something about it. I had located black, blue and even white ones. Then, I saw these in green and ordered them.First impression is they are lightweight so how much ink is in them? Second, the caps seal well and fit snuggly on the blank ends when the markers are in use. Third, they write OK but I would prefer ink that was more opaque and less translucent.

Cheap Markers
Markers are mush more cheaply made than the “ Magic Marker “ brand. They seem to function ok but I am sceptical if they last.

Chisel tip, permanent, blue markers, writes on almost anything, great on wood, paper, plastic.
Permanent markers are one essential need in my home and field office “arsenal”, mainly because I find them great for making permanent marks on tires, storage boxes and bags, file folders, etc., specifically because I CANNOT afford for the mark to fade.This box by EXTRIC, includes one dozen, chisel-tipped, permanent blue markers, with quick drying ink that writes on virtually any surface. They are great for schools, home and field offices, and for a traveler like me, I take at least one with me for marking a variety of surfaces when “permanence” is required.The markers are compact, only 5” long with cap in place, and the cap can lock onto the back of the marker when not in use. The ink is quick dry, fade-resistant, and has virtually non-detectable odor. The markers will write on steel (or most metals), wood, paper, plastic, and ceramics, so they are “friendly” with crafts-folks!I expect a few people who prefer a needle-nose fine point in their permanent marker MAY pass on these, but that chisel tip can make thin lines, too, it’s all in the angling of the marker!
