Givenchy Play for Men by Givenchy 3.3 oz 100 ml EDT Spray

This I purchased from Amazon, sold and shipped by Amazon. I have no knowledge of what other reviewers received, and from what vendor. The picture of the one review where the bottle does not have Givenchy in black lettering along the bottom of the bottle may if fact have not been authentic. Mine does have "PLAY" in red at the top, and "Givenchy" in black along the bottom of the front of the bottle. If you want authentic PLAY, I would suggest you purchase it from the genuine cologne sitting in an Amazon distribution warehouse. I would have to conclude that all the "I got a fake" reviews are from people who bought from a seller that I'm sure Amazon tries very hard to shut down when these things happen. DO NOT BUY FROM A THIRD PARTY!!!! Trust Amazon to be your seller, and you will never be disappointed. I definitely got the PLAY by Givenchy, 3.3 oz cologne that sells for $77 at Macy's. At less than half the price, I am very pleased. I used to be a CK ONE guy, then moved on to Chrome by Azarro. I was getting low on Chrome, and received an Amazon gift card for Christmas. I decided to try something new. PLAY is similar to Chrome, but has a much more sophisticated aroma. It is citrus and woody at the same time, which is pretty hard to do. I find it a very clean yet subtlety alluring scent. It's a little hard to pin down exactly what makes it smell so good. I'm sure a complicated thing to achieve. This is so obviously a high-end designer cologne. Very pleasant. Not overpowering. Seems to be cosmopolitan without taking itself too seriously. The name really fits. It's playful and seductive all at once. I now have a new admiration for the chemists who come up with this stuff. It can't be easy. Anyway, it smells better than CK ONE, and Chrome. If you have appreciated either of these, I would definitely recommend PLAY. It is definitely a step up. I love it. Time to test it at mt next dinner party. Will update. UPDATE: Notice the picture of the cologne. It is not the bottle you get when getting it from Amazon as the seller. The black logo "Givenchy" is not on the bottle in the picture. Amazon should really change this. I have a feeling that all the fake reviews received this knockoff. Givenchy does not change their packaging or bottle for this cologne. All genuine PLAY have Givenchy in black on the bottom of the bottle under the red PLAY logo. Also, the nozzle is very well constructed. You actually depress a rubber housing sealed over the real nozzle. The spray is powerful, and believe me, you only need one. When you try to smell the cologne buy sniffing the rubber nozzle, you can't smell anything. This is premium construction. The shelf life is probably really long, because there is no way for evaporation to occur. Also, I sprayed my shirt 10 hours ago, and it's like I just put it on. This bottle should last for months. Did I mention it smells like heaven? UPDATE: 1/25/2017. I have called Macy's. They tell me they sell authentic Givenchy Play, shipped to them from France. What Givenchy has done with the newest bottles of men's 3.3 oz spray Play cologne is the following: the box no longer has any rewind or fast forward emblems on it. The box has no "arrow right", red play button. The box is silver and bright white. These white parts are rounded corner rectangles very much like the picture on this page. The bottle does not have Givenchy in raised black letters on the spray nozzle. Instead, toward the bottom of the front of the bottle, is where Givenchy is in raised black letters. Above (about 3"), is the large, all capital red letters PLAY. There are no longer any buttons anywhere on genuine bottles of men's 3.3 oz PLAY, or the box. Macy's told me they have no knowledge of older packaging, but did tell me they are 100% certain that their buyers deal directly with the manufacturer in Paris, and this is what you should look for when unsure about what you are buying. You should see two bar codes on the bottom of the box that are part of the box itself, not stuck on. Next to the bottom barcode, you should find one mark (a circular arrow), and another which is a fat flame with 2 gaps in it. Above these marks, if you use a strong light source, you should see a 4 digit lot number with a very strange sequence of symbols and numbers which are the serial number. These numbers and symbols can be felt because they are laser engraved. You will also find a corresponding lot number laser etched on the bottom of the bottle. Also, the black edge around the sides of the bottle before the bottom. They do not wrap the bottom corners, or extend underneath. This is what I got as a Prime Member. I did not receive what is pictured. I don't know what is pictured, maybe old versions of PLAY? I can only say that what I got is what I have described here. The only thing I can add is that you should be able to find 4 square shaped Gs forming the classic four G square that is the trademark of Givenchy. They are both on the box. Hope this helps.

I got this during my young teen years, all the girls loved it!;) I’m 25 now and this was about 10-11 years ago. I saw that it was discontinued and the reviews Said it wasn’t the same scent but it definitely is I also used affirm for like 4 months so it wasn’t a blow to my pocket

I bought this cologne as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. It’s his favorite cologne & I love the way it smells too! Unfortunately this cologne has been discontinued & isn’t sold in stores anymore, therefore it’s super hard to find anywhere, so I had to buy it as soon as I found it here. I was super happy with how quickly it shipped because it came in just in time for his birthday. I was super pleased with the price as well being that it’s very rare to come across this particular cologne.

The picture for this product is inaccurate and that needs to be changed given the constant fear of fakes accompanying buying cologne online.The real, current bottle does not have the play arrow above "PLAY" and the box doesn't have any of the arrows either. I was concerned mine was a fake because of these discrepancies, but after comparison to a store sample and packaging I'm reassured that it's real. This fragrance is exactly what I was looking for as my spring/summer daily wearer. Fresh and warm. It opens up with citrus and then you smell the Amyris wood middle a couple hours later. That's the scent that stays with you most as it dries out. It's very well balanced. No one scent really slaps you in the face, it just makes a generally pleasant smell. Definitely non offensive, doesn't seem to project very far which is good for me. You'd really have to spray it on to overpower anyone with this. I've only had it a short time so I'll try to update as I work my way through the seasons and the bottle.

Im 32 years old and have been wearing this product for about 4 years now. I spray this once on my chest and then I also use Versace blue on my neck. The mix between the two sends girls over the edge. They smell one...and then they get hit by the other sent. I cant tell you how many times I've had a girl tell me how great I smell while I'm taking her clothes off.... okay maybe like 10. I bought this product off amazon recently, and I dont know if its me or not, but it doesnt seem as strong as I remembered, so now I'm spraying it twice on the chest.

Read the reviews claiming this was a fake AFTER I bought it, tried to cancel too late, received it, and it's 100% the real deal! NOT FAKE! Just the new bottle design. I have bought Numerous bottles of play over the years (directly from licensed retailers) and this bottle I received (though half the price I normally pay) matched the last bottles I have bought exactly as well as the packaging (that I had happened to still have). Over all, great deal!

I love this fragrance on my husband. It's clean, crisp, refreshing and sexy. I have no clue why it is so much cheaper on Amazon than at Macy's. After reading reviews, I did worry that this would be a knock off but I received the bottle and it looks and smells just like the original and the fragrance lasts hours so I do not know how they get away with selling it for so much more at department stores, but this is the real deal.

My husband had been wearing this for years! He recently ran out and ordered something else, just to try it. It was nice- one of the Calvin Kleins- but I got him another bottle of Play for his birthday. (for me :) I told him that the other smells nice, but this is the one that, if I didn't know him, I would have to stop him in the grocery store to ask what scent he was wearing!

Sin embargo, se va poniendo mejor conforme el tiempo pasa y se puede apreciar realmente a plenitud.La duración es de aproximadamente de 6 Hrs con buena presencia. El perfume se conserva por mucho tiempo en la ropa, lo he puesto en la manga de una sudadera que usé diariamente y el olor se fue como en una semana y media.Obviamente que como un buen perfume el olor va pasando por distintas fases. La prueba de que es un buen perfume es que cuando pasan esas 8 Hrs aprox. si te metes a bañar el olor se transforma, no desaparece si no que se mantiene en la piel y cambia. Este es el primer producto que compré a través de Amazon y estoy muy satisfecho con Amazon y el vendedor Magna Perfumes.

La envoltura es un rotundo 10, todo venía en orden y muy bien empaquetado. Ahora solo fata comprobar que la fragancia si dure el aroma, aunque a veces creo que es el ph de las personas la que afectan la duración de la fragancia.

Ufff que puedo decir, simplemente mi colonia favorita, el olor perfecto y a un precio muy accesible, la colonia llegó muy protegida y sellada en excelente estado y justo a tiempo
