Loads of room for recipes and even has helpful pages such as conversion rates, index keys and removable shopping lists at the back! Incredibly detailed while still allowing for personalisation. The colour is also stunning and the cover is lovely and sturdy with slight cushioning - it feels amazing to hold.

This is a lovely journal for anyone who loves to cook. It is great quality and beautifully packaged. I was delighted with it as a present for my daughter and can see her passing it on to her children.

This recipe journal is gorgeous. I haven't opened it to look inside as its a birthday present; from the description and photos on Amazon, it has all that is needed for keeping your own recipes. But I was very pleasantly surprised at how beautifully it has been presented: wrapped in tissue and placed in a gift box. I had a different one on last year's Christmas list, but wish I'd seen this first.

I bought this as a present for my husband and it came beautifully presented. The book itself has a lovely cushioned cover that has wiped clean so far. It isn't divided up into starters, mains, etc but that was a deliberate choice on my part as my husband prefers to organise stuff himself, and is using the index to do this. It opens almost completely flat, so that both ingredients and method are easy to see across the 2 page spread. The good quality paper means that there has been no ink bleed-through (he uses a fountain pen). Husband's only 'critical' comment so far has been that he would have preferred a few more recipe pages rather than the 8 or so pages at the back given over to shopping lists and 'stores to support' lists. Others might find those pages useful though. All in all, he's very happy with it.

Comes presented in a gift box which seems wasteful to me as I'm sure no-one is going to actually keep it in the box and it will just get thrown away. It would have been better in my opinion, if they really want to provide some sort of "presentation" container, to have it in a slide in/out sleeve/case rather than a box, that you can put on a shelf and slide the book directly out of, which would be more likely to be kept and used, rather than mucking about with a box.The covers are rigid but have a soft, spongy feel to them. It has a closure strap plus two bookmarks. Paper quality is good, and you can see the layout in the product photos. Pages are numbered and there is an indexing section at the front. I do find it odd that the "method" section for each recipe begins on the last 4 lines of the left hand page before continuing on the entire right hand side. For clarity, I would have made just the right hand side alone for the method, and give a little bit more space on the left for more ingredients (I know there's space for 16 which is quite a lot, but some things I cook use a lot of ingredients) or other notes.

Bought my daughter as a gift , it was so well presented in a box and tissue paper made it it feel extra special she absolutely loved it 👌
