I bought this on a whim as before I'd only read Hardy's full novels. This was an easier read than the full novels. The stories are interesting and just long enough. I will definately try more Hardy short stories.

I love this book so much, I got the cover graphics tattoed on me. Thomas Hardy is a great writer and this book proves so.
