No problems at all with it, superb little calculator. Nice colour too. Easy to operate and use!

There's nothing wrong with calculator, give you all the functions kids need for GCSE and beyond but it's hard to overlook the fact that a Casio FX-83GTCW (the UK's best selling calculator apparently) is the same price. For me I'd be buying the trusted brand over this, the Casio looks better also.

Construction is good for a product in this price range. The instruction book is decent as well. I had a similar calculator from another brand, and it was unusable. This one is proving to be much better.

My eldest starts her GCSE's in September and I wanted to ensure that she is prepared and has the tools needed. This calculator has way more features then my 30+ year old Casio scientific calculator used back in the day, I was able to take it for a test spin and to be honest I had forgotten how to use these but it came flooding back once I got used to navigating the calculator.I never did A' level maths so cannot comment on its suitability at that level, however for GCSE's this certainly appears to cover every topic and I am fully confident that this is the right calculator for her as she starts her new year.

This item arrived in a sturdy box which contained the calculator and an instruction booklet.It's a really attractive shade of blue with a slide off cover, which keeps the keypad protected. I found this quite hard/stiff to operate initially but it seems to have loosened up a little with use.The buttons are a good size and well spaced, making them easy to use. The display is clear and shows both the calculation and result lines.It's quick and responsive and fits perfectly into my son's pencil case, giving it the easy portability and performance that's required for school work.At £9.99, at time of review, I think it's great value and aesthetically it's nice to see a calculator in a colour other than black!

This is a clone of an older Casio calculator. You will find many, many identical calculators with the same features and case moulding online with different brands attached to them; they're all the same inside regardless of the price you're paying. The cloning goes as far as the user guide, the cover of which copies the styling of a genuine Casio manual!But is it any good? It's not bad, it has the same glut of features my A-Level calculator many, many years ago; the only difference is the two line display, which my son had on his GCSE calculator (which looked suspiciously similar to this as well, hmmm... 🤔)."It will do" is the phrase that springs to mind, and I'll be keeping it next to my computer because I like to have a separate calculator that you don't lose behind other windows. But when there's much newer designed Casio calculators for a couple of quid more, I'd go for one of them.

This Newyes scientific calculator works well.I've tried out various functions of the calculator and haven't found any faults or errors so far - all accurate and with a clear, large display.The calculator has a slide cover which has a number of functions for conversions and scientific constants available for input into calculations (and these also work just fine).Overall the calculator appears quite lightweight, which is great for portability but does make it seem a little bit light on quality. For example, it's quite rattly when in it's closed position inside the sliding case, which is a little annoying.The pastel blue colour to it is quite gender neutral to appeal to all I guess.For my kids in high school the school specified a particular model to purchase so that all the students are working on the same calculator and to make it easier to follow in class and avoid different models being used and pupils battling to do/find the necessary buttons on their calculators.Therefore, unfortunately this one will be a spare at home rather than used at school. Bare this in mind in case you're considering this for someone progressing to high school.Overall it's 4 stars from me. There are multiple others available at cheaper - and more expensive - prices and given the number of functions it appears to be priced about correctly in my opinion - if you think you'll use all the extra functions. The equivalent Casio calculator (for example), which comes in a similar blue or grey is slightly more (£12 currently) but there are also calculators with less functions (but a perfectly adequate number of functions for most people) that are cheaper.

Als günstige Alternative zu den Casio taschenrechnern ist dieser hier wirklich zu empfehlen.Selbst bei schlechtem Licht geht er dank Solarzelle sofort an, die tasten reagieren sehr gut undhaben einen guten Druckpunkt.Das Plastik fühlt sich ganz gut an, die Schiebehülle ist super praktisch als Schutz und in ihrem inneren sind einige wichtige Kurzwahltasten für die Funktionen abgdruckt.Er beherscht auch etliche wissenschaftliche Funktionen und ist für die knapp 10 Euro eine super Alternative zu vielen teureren Taschenrechnern
