I wanted something to shade my south facing french doors and stumbled upon this. I should have checked the dimensions, but there are four panes of glass in the kitchen, this kit would have been enough for one pane, so you don't get a lot for your money.Fitting it was initially good, I had no issues at all after following the instructions exactly. It stuck to the window well, and I was prepared to order more. It darkened the window slightly, but that was fine for me, it was what we wanted, so all seemed good. It included all the tools needed to fit as well.It seems there are a lot of window films, all identical on Amazon, so don't be fooled by the "ConCus" name, this is a generic, non-branded film.Anyway, 24 hours later, after the window had fully dried, I was left with the most awful streaks between the film and the glass. No amount of squeegy use could remove them, they weren't air bubbles, the film went on smooth, but it was as if water was trapped (or dried) between the film and the glass. It looked awful, as you can see from the pictures, so I had no option but to remove it.For that reason, I cannot recommend and I've not ordered more (as I was intending to).

I reviewed a similar product from another seller recently, which was better value (61cm x 10m £23.99). All these things are same though and this one is no different (aside from the price).Cut it to size before trying to fit it will make it a lot easier as cutting in place is a learned skill (it rips easily until firmly in place). Its quite forgiving if you don't get it right the first time, apply a lot of soapy water to both the window and the sheet as you peel the backing off (use 2 people) as it can stick to itself and the water will prevent that, can't use too much (just ensure there's a towel under it).Once on, it works as you would expect, as long as it's darker inside than out, people outside see a mirror on your window. If you turn your light on (so the inside is lighter than the outside) then to anyone outside it looks just like a normal window. These things do block about 10% of light so rooms will be a bit dimmer but I accept that for a nice clear view out (hate net curtains or blinds).Works as it should, and easy to apply. If you don't mind the pricing then you cant really go wrong with these, there arent any that are easier than others to apply.
