I set it on the counter next to the expensive chrome one that burn my grandkids' hands and tried it out. The first slice of oversize sourdough bread came out perfectly golden brown and I didn't have to adjust any settings. The sides stayed cool and it takes up half the space on the counter. Delivery was fast too and it was packed well. It is even easier to clean too. It even looks nicer. What a dream come true of a toaster!

Love this toaster. We had a regular toaster for years but got so tired of our wide sourdough pieces being so inconsistently toasted so we opted for a really wide toaster like this one. It's been amazing. It's my favorite toaster I've ever owned. Not only does it fit just about any width bread but it toasts them perfectly and quickly! The black plastic finish looks nice in person and and the functioning knob feels high quality and durable. It's not too heavy but still feels sturdy. I highly recommend this great toaster!

This toaster toasts more quickly than any other toaster I have ever owned. Unfortunately, the "inner" coils don't work well, so you have to flip the bread during toasting so the other side is done.

Works great for the larger sourdough loaves! Now I don't have to cut bread in half!! It'll cook 4 pieces of regular bread and great for bagels too. I got it for the larger sourdough bread.

Fits perfect in my space

So, I have owned toasters since the 70s and have never had one that I liked or can't remember if there was one long ago that I may have liked. From the heavy old chrome models to toaster ovens and now this pretty white plastic toaster. My last toaster was not broken and was also plastic; a red plastic 2 slot standard toaster that is heavier than this one. But I realized that I love round sourdough loaves and those do not fit in a standard toaster. This extremely lightweight plastic has some very high temperature heating elements - I don't understand the science of it., how the plastic on the outside does not get hot or melt! I do know that during the first use of this toaster filled my apartment with plastic scented fumes but I continued to use it. This toaster is possessed! At the end of each assignment or upon hitting cancel button, the toast pops up so high into the air it falls onto the counter! It is very funny and entertaining which is why I might keep it. The heating elements are extremely HOT! Everything requires very little time to toast, which is like a love hate relationship. It must be carefully monitored. The toaster is so light in weight that you can't "press" the cancel button or it slides away or falls over. I will play around with settings but read in another comment that it is very sensitive. Gee, now it is starting to remind me of an ex-husband! But, due to the acrobatic capabilities and low price, I'll probably keep it. I refuse to pay $100 for a toaster so I guess I'll end up never ever having a great toaster in my lifetime. Oh yah, 3rd star for comedic entertanment! Bon appetite!

I’ve had this toaster for 3-4 weeks now, so feel like I can give an informed assessment of it. After years of pale, barely-toasted bread from other toasters, this item is a WINNER. I’m not even using the darkest setting, and I’m getting nicely toasted bread. It’s wonderful!!!!! I haven’t tried bagels or English muffins, but I bet I’d be happy with them, too.
