I bought this to use as a gym locker, and I don't think it will work for me. I set the master print as my thumb, and if I don't put it just right, it wigs out and I need to wait about 10 seconds for it to recover.. I may be doing something wrong, but hey, its a lock, how hard can it be..I have had it in my gym bag for a couple of weeks and try to unlock it each time I leave the gym ( I'm using my old combo lock for now). I have been able to unlock it every time, but it can take a few tries. I want a lock that works like my smart phone for this price. one or two tries and I'm unlocked. so, this probably won't be used unless I can somehow figure out how to make it work quicker and more consistently.Updated: Seller contacted me and offered assistance very quickly which was nice. Hopefully we can figure out how to get it to work quicker.

Update: the seller has sent me a replacement item and it has been working fine.Great concept bad execution. The fingerprint part took a little while to figure out but it generally works fine, within one or two attempts. The mechanism that is supposed to hold down the cable on top of the lock gave way after less than a hundred cycles used on a locker. Upon examination, there is a thin piece of metal that sticks out and stops the end of the cable from pulling out. That flimsy piece of metal failed and would not hold its position. I'm buying a more sturdy padlock style replacement.

This is my second fingerprint padlock; I brought the same lock with a different brand name and I had to return it because I could not set an administrator’s finger print. This lock had the same problem: I tried different fingers and none of them worked. Without setting up an administrator’s finger print the device doesn’t work. I really wanted this lock to work and I am disappointed that it didn’t. I envy those who received a lock that worked because I believe this is a great concept. I returned the lock for a refund.

I had to send it back. I couldn't get it to recognize any of my fingerprints (to be fair I didn't try my toes). I'm an IT guy so I have soft, calloused hands with easy to read fingerprints that have worked on every other fingerprint scanner I have tried. I love the concept, but only if properly executed.

The first product must have been defective because it just did not work. I am pleased to say that the customer service is fantastic. They sent me another one promptly and stayed in touch to ensure that everything was working fine. Works great

Complete trash. It worked sort of well at first, but now it's gotten to the point where it may take a few minutes of repeated attempts to open it before it recognizes my thumb print.

Bought on Feb 15th and stopped working on March 28th. Tried to charge it. Couldn't get the top piece inserted again. Oh well..thought I'd try it.

Could never get it to work. This was after going online and getting instructions.
