Complete Filter Replacement Set for Toddy Cold Brew System - Includes 10 Reusable Felt Filters and 50 Paper Filter Bags

This is great! It works so well I wish I would have ordered this sooner for my toddy machine!

These are very nice bags for the most part. The only reason why I gave it a 4 stars and not 5 is because of a quality issue with 2 of the bags. I went to go lift the bag out of the toddy and the bag broke. Other than that, these bags work well. for making small batch cold brew coffee.

I bought a toddy on clearance at Walmart and it only came with five filters and no round filter at all. I ordered this and it worked great. I was using a large pickle jar and straining it with a strainer and cheesecloth this is so much easier and I don’t have the sludge at the bottom of cold brew I keep in the refrigerator. I also think it tastes better. I would definitely recommend the toddy system along with these filters.

This is a bag to hold coffee when it is cold brewed, It is supposed to make it easy to remove the grounds. BUT, these bags don't have enough strength and tear, so removal is very difficult. They must be made in China and the are NOT GOOD. I will return to the Toddy paper bags. A little more expensive, but they work. I would like my money back on these

I don't know if these will work in your Toddy Cold Brew System because I don't have one. But they work well for my method.I brew my cold brew in a big pot. When ready to filter it, I have an orange juice bottle with a narrow neck that the felt filter fits in perfectly. The bottom is cut off the bottle and I place one of the paper filters in the bottle. I then place the bottle upside down in the opening of the gallon jar and pour the cold brew mixture through. This system works perfectly to filter my brew. I've been using the same felt filter now for several batches and it is holding up well. The paper filters I toss after each use.

I have had my Toddy system for over 20 years and have always brewed the standard method without a bag but I am now a convert. It usually takes over an hour to get a full drain after brewing but with the bag it drained in a matter of 5 minutes. The clean up was quick and easy and effortless. The bottom filter was a little larger than the original but it fit when pushed down further and did not affect the draining at all. It also cleaned up completely without grounds imbedded in it since the grounds were contained in the bag. I was originally concerned with the taste being different with this type of brewing but it is actually smoother. I suspect because the bag filters out some of the bitter oils that might have been coming through the other method. I am a fan of this set and with the 50 bags contained in this package, I will be brewing this way for quite a while. The set comes in a resealable Mylar bag that keeps everything fresh and dry. This is a great buy for any Toddy fan. You will be a convert, too!

the first thing i noticed was how smooth my coffee tasted – no more bitter aftertaste. i love that it comes with 10 reusable felt filters and 50 paper filter bags; this combo really extends the life of the filters, so i don’t have to buy replacements as often. setup and cleanup are a breeze with the paper filter bags, which is awesome because who has time for complicated cleanups? plus, i’ve been getting more coffee concentrate per batch, which means fewer brew sessions and more sipping.

There were lots of disappointments with this set and I’m not sure that I’ll be able to get any use from any part of them. Despite other good reviews, I did not find the filters to be useful or anywhere near the quality that I’ve found from other replacement offerings.The felt pads:- Are not the correct size to fit the space - they were too big. I was able to cram the pad in the hole, but without having a flush fit, it seems like the filter would not provide the service it is supposed to.- Do not feel like ‘felt’ at all. They feel more like the plastic material at the top of a scrubby kitchen sponge.- The fibers are not at all close enough to each other (nor are there enough of them) to feel like a true replacement for the original pads or other replacement brands I’ve tried. I was curious about how well this might filter, so tested running 4 cups of water through the system with this filter pad and then with an original filter pad. This pad allowed the liquid through in less than 20 seconds. The original pad took nearly a full minute.The paper filters:- Are not a texture that I’ve found before. When compared to the original filter bags, the exterior feels unusually smooth. It feels more like a sheet of writing paper and not textured like a coffee filter.- Do not allow the entire amount of liquid to flow through easily. When testing with my normal brew, there seemed to be nearly a cup of liquid that wasn’t passing through the bag to the felt filter, regardless of wiggling/shaking/tapping the system on top of the carafe.- Do hold up to normal usage. When the shaking didn’t result in the liquid passing through to the carafe, I gingerly picked up the bag from the top edge(s) and the bag tore in multiple places. It was a mess.When you only make one batch of coffee for the week and use a whole can+ of grinds, you don’t want to risk ruining it. This batch of filters really offered more problems than solutions.Do not recommend.
