Peerless SR560M Universal Rolling Cart Flat Panel Screens

This is the second one that I have purchased and you would think that I would endorse it positively. Wrong!! There were some changes in the design and assembly that made this "newer" design a nightmare to assemble. Don't get me wrong, it is solidly built and does a great job. However, the assembly instructions were a mess. Step 3 was a bit frustrating but I got it done. The only problem: when I got to step 10 (attaching the shelf) I had to completely disassemble everything in step 3 to get it completed. This lack of order was really irritating.Would I buy another? Yes, because I know what I am getting. When completed I am pleased with the product. But if Peerless wants another 5 star review from me then they need to get their head out of their ass. CORRECT YOUR ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS!!!

I admit to a rather unusual use scenario. I needed a TV stand that was easy to move around yet very strong and stable. The installation is in a guest cottage where my wife and I have put together a gym -- along with a racing sim. I needed something strong enough to hold a 55-inch plasma in a stable fashion, yet easily movable so that it can be moved between the racing sim setup and the gym setup.The Peerless is just what the name implies. Though it's built to industrial standards as far as strength, it still looks good. Not elegant, but not bad -- and perfect for the setting.Construction and setup is simple enough, and all the required tools come with the unit. I added the shelf that mounts between the front legs, along with the power outlet strip.After using this for a month, I can say there's nothing I'd change about the design or construction of this unit. It's not the cheapest on the market, but you definitely get what you pay for. I'd recommend it to friends or family, without fear of them being disappointed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

While I still believe nothing tops a wall mount. This would be the next best option. It is expensive but it has quality workmanship. The wheels roll well enough once you learn the sweet spot of how to guide it. Once you have the spot you wish to leave it the locks work well enough. The one thing to remember about this stand is that it is expensive and incomplete. There are other accessories available which would raise the cost again. Available accessories include cord management, second shelf, base shelf & tv strap. These all enhance the stand and I recommend purchasing but they also increase the bottom line.

I'm not blaming amazon for this but "Peerless" needs to change the name of this product "32-65" inches. I bought this for my 47 inch LG flat screen but it did not fit and I had to buy a different mounting bracket to use for this (plp-v8x4). Just a warning to possible buyers. This DOES NOT fit up to 65 inch screens. Do your homework before buying this to make sure you won't need to buy additional mounting brackets. The product however is very solid and sturdy. This is why my review is mixed... 5 stars for product but 1 star for peerless' false advertisement.

I was looking at a couple stands for our office's 46" Samsung HD TV. Based on Amazon reviews I went with this one and also because this one weighed 30lbs more than the $100 cheaper model offered elsewhere. This one weighs in at a whopping 80lbs and heavier has got to be better for a stand on which you're mounting an $800 TV. The stand comes efficiently packed in cardboard and bubble wrap - no Styrofoam. When I started taking the pieces out I was impressed with the fabrication and heft of each piece; heck, I felt like I was about to put together a small piece of artillery! Instructions were super clear and easy to follow & I think it took me about an hour to put it all together. I got it all assembled just in time for it to be used for a meeting in our conference room. It is super easy to wheel around on its big rubber wheels and the two rear wheels can be locked so it will stay in one place, though I think it will probably be moved around a lot. Excellent product.
