These plates are great, but I didn’t realize you could not put them in the microwave before I purchased them. We kept them because that was my mistake. Very pretty and colorful. They do scratch easily if you use a very sharp knife, cutting your food on them.

Plates are good size. The bowl is good for rice or soup. Call it a medium-sized bowl.I do plan to order this item again for everyday use. I am very happy with the quality.

These are absolutely beautiful!A wonderful pop of color at the beach house for guests to enjoy a nice meal. Cleanup is easy due to the light weight nature of the dishes…no more chips! Love them!

Always nice to have around or take with you somewhere, where you might need dishes.

I received these plates as a gift. I loved them so much I bought another set so I have a place setting for 12. They do not scratch and you can put them in the dishwasher.

Thicker than anticipated although still lightweight. Was expecting a thickness like Corell. These are a little thicker and create the illusion of primitive or hand-thrown pottery by having a slightly dimpled surface. It's an ingenious design, which reflects light off a high glaze in a very-pottery-way instead of a modern- plastic-way.The blue colored set is every bit as rich a color as in the photo. We are very pleased with them! Now, if only melamine could go in the microwave! Ah well, that's a minor aspect that is more than compensated for by its lightweight, easily cleaned & mighty hard to break even by dropping on the floor characteristics.
