Great size and my son loves his
This is a good size, its not too big and my son takes it to school . Closes with the pieces inside and makes a good travel set.

use to use when travelling
Strong magnets holding the game down, played chess on a train and a plane with no issues even folded the board up with the chess pieces in play. Checkers are not secured with a magnet, didn't think they would be but I don't think it clearly states that.Pieces are fine using a standard design, not a cheap plastic look or feel which I hate.

Disappointed
Good functional chess set with good magnetism and secure fold. However the description states that it is wooden and does not mention the cheap, faded laminate top which makes it look awful. I would be returning it if it weren't for the fact I need it for Sunday and won't be able to get another one before then.

Small!
I didnt realise how small this would be the backgammon pieces and very finicky and difficult to play with and the whiles seem offset. Otherwise it doe she job and the chess piece are easy to use
