Deffected product and even worst customer service
Our experience with Dermray has been nothing short of a nightmare. We bought their machine three months ago, and the power button got stuck, making the device completely useless. The product looks brand new—no scratches, no signs of misuse—just a defective button. When I reached out to their so-called customer service, I discovered they don’t even provide a phone number. Everything had to be done through email, which is a huge red flag. I sent them a video showing the issue, only to be met with a dismissive response. Despite their supposed two-year warranty, they refused to replace the product, hiding behind vague excuses about “misuse or damage.” This is absurd, considering the machine is in perfect condition except for their faulty button.Dermray’s refusal to honor their warranty, combined with the complete lack of direct communication, shows they have zero accountability or respect for their customers. I wouldn’t recommend Dermray to anyone—save your money and avoid this company at all costs!

You will scare your kids; it fits odd on my eyelids, but seems to improve redness and pimples
The mask fit is odd around my eyes. I guess I’m old and my hooded eyelids get in the way, so I cannot comfortably read or keep my eyes open looking straight ahead. It is not totally uncomfortable, it just doesn’t allow me to go about my business as usual while wearing it. I’m fine if I’m laying down and listening to a podcast while doing my 10 minutes. It does have little ledges built in around the eyes, so you don’t see the glaring led lights while you’re wearing it, but keeping my eyes closed seems to be more comfortable for me. It does not get hot or sweaty, but you will scare your kids with it on. It does seem to calm my natural redness in my skin, and seems to make my occasional pimples dry out faster than using nothing. It’s only been a few weeks at 1-2 times a week, as advised, so I haven’t seen any miracles of wrinkle elimination yet. I am still hopeful, and it is easy to relax with this for 10 minutes a session to keep up with using it.

It's okay but I would probably get another over this one
I did not realize this when I ordered it but it seems to be identical to another one I got a couple months back, down to the cables, the buttons, the light, the settings, and on and on. The only difference was the design on the front, oh and also how much you have to shell out. That one was around 80-, this one is more than triple that. I don’t think it warrants that price for sure. I’m not sure what encouraged them to inflate it that much.Speaking on the product in itself, it works fine. I would probably get one that looks the same and just is much lower. It feels about average. I said this about the other one too but this gets very warm after running it for 10 min+. It isn’t scalding hot, of course, but it feels noticeably much hotter than in its regular temperature.

DermRays LED Light Therapy Mask
This is my second red light mask and feel like it's built nicer than my first one which is less expensive than this one. The mask fits well but I struggled with it initially because the straps were too long for my head and I ended up having to shorten it considerably and ignore the directions to adjust them to fit my head securely. The mask still flares up on the lower part of my face so it's not touching my face unless I hold it down. Ymmv, but there may be some fitting issues depending on the size and shape of your head and face. As far as the controller goes, it's simple and intuitive to use. I prefer using the automatic mode and letting the mask do its thing as I'm not the one to want to customize and get too complicated with skincare. It does get warm after a few minutes, but since I'm not using it for more than 15 minutes anyway, it's been fine. So far so good!

Quality Build
I've used light therapy products from various price points, but this is my first mask. The pliable silicone covering is much higher quality than any of the others I've tried. This mask uses a rechargeable battery, so there's no need to be close to a wall outlet. Initially, I believed the mask was defective because it wouldn't work while plugged into the wall. The remote has only two buttons, which keeps it uncluttered but makes changing modes and options less intuitive, so reading the instructions is important. My biggest complaint is that the instructions emphasize the need to use a proper 0.5A adapter for charging but the mask doesn't include one. While this is an acceptable cost-saving measure for lower-end electronics, I expect it to be included at this price point.

My favorite! Battery pack lasts a good while
This is by far my favorite RLT item! No smell of plastics or chemicals. Has built in eye cups to help shield eyes. Adjustable straps. After charging the battery pack lasted for multiple uses/days (Mask will not work plugged in) and allowed me to continue doing whatever I needed to at the time, though I chose to relax and enjoy the treatment.I tried all settings and settled on the auto function and let it run through a cycle on it's own. Best used on clean face so I would use after shower and before my nightly creams. It does start to warm up during last cycle, but nothing concerning and not hot at all.I can tell a difference in the overall texture of my skin, and have noticed a bit of purging going on as well, which will subside. I am very happy with it and will continue to use on a regular basis!
