as advertised
It's easier to use than a tripod and can be quickly moved to different positions as the subject shifts positions. For example, a kids soccer game. It's not as steady as a tripod but I didn't expect it to be. It does help steady the camera better than just hand held at slower shutter speeds.

Quite pleased
This gives me the edge I need with 12x binoculars for extended viewing,it’s light and the lever lock is quick and easy smooth. U just can’t beat it for the price. Great for hiking, birding. Works for me.My tri pod ( cheap) at $100. Is much heavier. I hope it lasts for at least a few years. I imagine an expensive mono would hold the bino just the same

Well worth the price.
This works great. I use it all the time. It is easy to use and reliable. I keep one in both my car and my truck.

Nice pole, and has a case
I bought this because we have some really nice binoculars which are on the heavy side. Also, my wife shakes a bit. Using this takes the weight off my wife's arms when using the binoculars and cuts down on the shakiness. Great value. Good quality, and is comes in a nice storage case.

Great stick but might wear out
This is a good stick with the exception of the tip. The rubber/metal tip can not be replaced. I have not found a cane or chair rubber tip that will fit over the current configuration. It looks like it is pinned to the shaft. I will use this stick until the rubber wears out and then figure out how to cover the metal tip to keep the walking stick feature. If this tip style ruins a hardwood floor, it may see a hacksaw sooner than later.
