This is a big help if testing soil
When I bought this meter I was skeptical due to the other reviews. However, after using the meter, the indicator does move when you amend the soil. I needed to make the soil more alkaline, so I added baking soda to a gallon of water two times. Each time the needle moved towards being more alkaline. If this meter lacks accuracy it will at least tell you what you need to do if the plants in that soil aren't performing well.

It works as advertised.
It came fast, works very good. I found one at Lowe’s for the same price that does the exact same thing as this one. So if you are not in a hurry order this one, if you need it NOW, go to Lowe’s. At least at Lowe’s if you don’t like it just take it back.

Save your plants! Get one of these to help with all your watering.
Ok, my wife has the brown thumb of death when it comes to plants. I got this to help her. She is doing a good job with it and we haven't killed a plant in 2 months. (New record) We also started using it for our outside watering to help set up the sprinklers. Our outside plants have never been happier.

Doesn't work
Only the light meter works, and barely. I mostly needed this meter for the moisture readings and that didn't work at all. Even in water, it showed dry. I even left it in for 10 minutes like the seller recommends in the tricks section.

Defective when I received it

Just garbage -- A waste of time and money
Ph meter is not working, just doesn't move. Other functions appear to maybe work, but I bought it for Ph measurements.
