I am so glad that I got this because it was a struggle to get the KitchenAid in and out of the counter cabinets in the corner of the kitchen. This makes the process so much more easier and smoother because it slides easily on the counter. yet stays in place when I’m using the KitchenAid. The size fit my mixer perfectly as well.

This was such awesome find for me I've had my mixer for YEARS and would always get annoyed dragging it across the counter. I had no idea things like this even existed! It pulls so smoothly across my counter and the little grip pieces help my mixer stay in place. I will say though because of the material it's definitely a bit hard to keep clean. I have yet to wash it but I have gotten some flour spilled on it. I shook it off easy enough but if something more messy (like badder) were to get on it I feel like it would be a it more difficult to get out. However I'm fairly careful when using it and it works well enough for me.

I have been using a sliding mat for my Kitchen Aid 5 qt. Artisan stand mixer that I have loved because the material slides so easily and fits under my stand mixer well with only a moderate edge of an inch or so showing. But this metal mixer slider mat is the Perfect size for my stand mixer, with no extra material! It feels the same as my other mat and slides very easily. I have not put on the 5 round sliders yet and am not sure I need them because of the smoothness of the underside of the mat. There is now very little chance of getting this mat dirty, but with the round sliders on, there would be the possibility of flour, etc. getting underneath. This sliding mat is a keeper!

I love this KitchenAid accessory. It works great. It fits perfect on the bottom of my mixer. When I purchased this I thought it was going to be metal, but it's a soft material. It still works great and has slip pads that go underneath for easy movement. If you have a KitchenAid this is a great accessory to have.
