Long enough for hallway installation
Unlike other 36” wide bar for doorway installation, this one is 40”, wide enough for my 38” hallway installation. I was able to install the ends right above door frames, which gives me extra peace of mind. Very sturdy!

Good for narrow doors starting 27inc
I couldnt find good pullup bar for 27 inch door. But this does the job. Holds well.I recommend it if you plan to use it for door width at 27 inch

Very sturdy once installed properly.
This can be a little tricky to install properly but once it is tight enough, it works great. I have an older home and the doors are larger than standard so I needed something that was adjustable. This fits that bill well. The issue I ran into was worrying that the old wood might not hold up to the stress applied from having to wedge this in so tightly. I wound up installing it in my newer garage doorway where I knew the door frame is fully backed by studs. It works better for us there but if I had to use the older frame I think it may have been alright. Once it is up securely it is very solid and if taller persons are willing to duck under it, it can remain in place. I intend to install it permanently by securing it with screws to the studs once my spouse has gotten used to ducking under it as the door is still perfectly functional with this there. Overall, I would recommend this but caution to use a buffer on doorways that might not be backed very well. It is a trade-off for having it secure enough not to collapse when in use.

Sturdier than I expected
This pull-up bar is a game-changer compared to those older ones that hook over the door frame. It’s way sturdier, and you don’t get that annoying initial sag when you hang from it. I wouldn't go doing any explosive movements or swing from it, but it's definitely sturdy enough for regular ol' pull ups. It also fits a wider variety of door widths, which is a bonus over my old one. One thing I love is that it doesn’t leave those ugly black marks on the wall like the old ones with pads that wear out over time. Plus, I can actually close my door with this mounted, which is a huge plus. The setup is pretty straightforward, and it even comes with a hex wrench to tighten everything up. There’s a little holder for the wrench too, so it’s always within reach. The only downside is that the built-in level bubble isn’t super accurate, but you can make do. One thing to watch out for—my doorframe did “crack” a little from the pressure, but it’s holding up fine now. They also throw in a pair of workout gloves which is nice. Definitely usable, but obviously kind of cheap. Overall, it’s a solid piece of equipment, and I definitely recommend it.

Make sure to attach the extra holder
The bar works really well, it's pretty sturdy, but I don't like the fact you need 2 extra pieces to help keep it firm, but definitely does the job, and the gloves are very cool I personally wouldn't use it but it was worth it

Worked fine until I cracked my door frame
I'm giving this five stars because there's nothing wrong with the tool itself. However, it's hard to know how sufficiently tight you've made the tension until it's TOO tight... especially when you hear your door frame crack and gasp in horror. Either way, the bar wasn't super easy to install but I had it up and working in under 15 minutes and it's not a bad pull up bar if you don't have any other options. If you're renting, however, I suggest using something other than a tension design.

Make it Tight - and Make Sure Your Door Frame Can Handle the Pressure
Works well once you figure out how to install it and make it as tight as possible. It would be nice if they included a video showing how to install the support frames as well. This one puts a lot more pressure on the door frame than others I've tried. That's a good thing, but just make sure your door frame is solid, because the combination of forces on it are enough to break a weak one.

Cracked all my door frames
Hi, this pull up bar literally cracked all the door frames in my house. Not one could handle the pressure and when I tried loosening it a bit, it couldn’t hold my weight. I’ll just stick to the gym.
