The book brings important concepts about system engineering discipline

I am a seasoned systems engineer and I mentor new ones. This is a great introduction to the subject. Concise and direct. It is by no means a complete treatment of the subject, but it is pragmatic and executable. I like that there is an introduction to model-based approaches at the end. Rather than coming up with my own material to teach new SEs, I use this book.
