Great tasting water from a quality-built RO countertop system!
I bought the Bluevua RO100ROPOT-Lite (UV) Reverse Osmosis System Countertop Water Filter after hours of research over a week or two. I considered many brands and decided on the Bluevua Lite (UV). Mainly because of its compact size and overall performance reviews. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. The Bluevua RO100ROPOT-Lite (UV) Reverse Osmosis System Countertop Water Filter looks and feels premium and very well made. The unit is very quiet and fairly quick to filter water. The filtered water is very good. I prefer it to many premium bottled waters, I won't list names, but some are European and not cheap! I use the included remineralization filter to add beneficial minerals back into the water. I would like to add that the water without the remineralization filter taste great as well. The unit does take some time to setup initially, because of the required flushing of the filters when first using it. But it's a necessary evil that all RO systems require! I really like the all-digital touch screen display. It's very easy to use and the screen displays all the necessary info. I like the sturdy glass pitcher over plastic ones that other brands tend to use. It holds 40 oz. of filtered water. I purchased an extra glass water pitcher, so I always have fresh filtered water, cold in the fridge! I drink a lot of water throughout the day. I've been using a quality gravity filter pitcher for years. Recently the brand was bought by a large water company and even though they made improvements to their filters for longer life and made improvement to their pitchers. The filters are not compatible with the old-style pitchers, very frustrating! I looked into a new pitcher only to learn the new owners eliminated the handy pour spout on their new pitcher. A feature I loved! So, I said, the heck with them! Their filters are the most expensive on the market for a pitcher gravity filter anyway! The Bluevua RO100ROPOT-Lite (UV) Reverse Osmosis System Countertop Water Filter has a filter that last a year with regular use. The filter averages $70 - $80 to replace yearly. Not the lowest priced or most expensive. Pretty average! The filter on the Bluevua RO100ROPOT-Lite (UV) Reverse Osmosis System Countertop Water Filter is a single unit. So, you only need to replace one because it has multiple filtration stages built into one filter! I also like the UV light purification feature as well to keep bacteria from forming in the filter and system. Many brands do not offer this feature and is a major reason I chose Bluevua! I also like the fact that this Bluevua system uses a regular electric cord and plug, instead of a power brick like so many other RO systems! Something a lot won't consider or think about till they unbox unit and discover a power brick and find out it takes up needed outlet space! The system produces about 3 gallons of purified water to 1 gallon of wastewater. Which is better than average for a countertop RO system. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with my Bluevua purchase and highly recommend it!UPDATE: A short update after owning the Bluevua RO100ROPOT-Lite (UV) Reverse Osmosis System Countertop Water Filter for a month. I have been testing the TDS of the water regularly. My water here in Pennsylvania is a very good 30 -34 ppm TDS straight out of the tap (most municipal water in PA have a low ppm TDS reading fortunately!). So, the RO system doesn't have a lot of total dissolved solids to remove from the start! I mostly wanted to remove the chlorine and disinfection chemicals used in all municipal water supplies in the U.S. My reading on the filtered water from the Bluevua system have been a constant 0 ppm reading on my test meter for water without using the included remineralization cartridge. Using the remineralization cartridge, I'm getting a solid 4 ppm TDS reading, which is great! The remineralization cartridge adds back into the water beneficial minerals such as potassium, magnesium and calcium. This enhances the taste as well. Overall, I prefer the water taste using the remineralization cartridge over not using it. Either way the water taste great! The Bluevua system continues to work flawlessly, and I use it daily! Very satisfied with my purchase decision! I highly recommend the Bluevua brand RO systems!

Worked great for 10 months... UPDATED
Updated 06-24-25:I have revised my rating from 2 stars to 5 stars. This company is the best company I have ever worked with. I have been an Amazon Prime member since 1999, and no other company has stood behind their product like this one.A Bluevua representative contacted me via Amazon within a day of my review going live, and I received and got set up a replacement unit as of yesterday. The new unit is functioning fine and I am back to drinking great tasting, pure water. My experience with Bluevua has been exceptional. So, my review of this RO water filtering system now is:The unit is easy to work with, is fairly quiet, makes great tasting water consistently, and has excellent product support. I highly recommend this unit and company for having clean, pure water at home.Original review 06-12-25:Worked great for 10 months. All of a sudden it started leaking out of the bottom of the unit. I would get up in the morning and there would be a puddle of water about the size of a small salad plate coming from under the unit. I tried researching with the company what I should do, but every link I got and tried gave me a different product that they make. I am unable to find any info or get any response on trouble shooting this particular model. For the amount of money this unit cost and it's replacement filter every year, it's a lot cheaper and easier to go back to an Amazon pitcher and filter system. Too bad. This was a great machine, before it started leaking badly.

Superior water filtration system
This is a high quality water filtration system that Id personally highly recommend. The water tastes better than bottled water that have pesky microplastics and it removes a lot of contaminants that can be found in water. Id just know its wise to have your water tested prior to using a machine like this because although it is of superior quality for the price, some heavy metals are measured not in ppm (particles per million) but ppb (particles per billion) and even consuming a slight amount of certain heavy metals can be disastrous for your health. However, this has saved my family lots of money and plastic in the last 2 months. Also, I'd recommend to get the larger system for a bigger family just because Im constantly filling the water container again to make more purified water for the family; but yes 10/10 system.

Strange color of water after boiling it
The filter works well and the water tastes fine, BUT something strange happened to the filtered water after it had been boiled and remained in the electrical kettle overnight. The photos are attached. The first photo was the cold boiled water right after it was poured into the cup early morning (it remained inside the kettle all night). The two other photos show the white residue settled on the bottom. The boiled water was the one with “mineral filter” applied, but I am not sure what the white residue is. There is A LOT OF IT. After seeing this, we took the mineral addition out because this doesn’t seem normal. I mean, would YOU drink this? What’s up with this, are we not supposed to use mineralized water in a kettle? Maybe the manufacturer can clarify this phenomenon.PS. Yes, the filter was flushed. Yes, the kettle was clean. Everything was clean and this is not some contaminant from some other source.

A vendor stands behind its product / Leaking at the base
After I submitted my review below, the vendor reached out and refunded my purchase. I bought another one from the same vendor again. The product works great for a family of two. Defect happens and I support a vendor who is proud of its own product and take action to show it. ----Worked great for almost 11 months, then water leaking from the bottom of the base. Checked other reviews and found similar feedback of leaking after 10 months. Might be an QC issue of a specific batch.
