Basic label maker
It’s super easy to use and I think is good quality for the price. It hasn’t jammed on me yet but if you have had plastic embossing label makers in the past it’s pretty straightforward to troubleshoot. I will say the letters are not aligned which is a problem for some people but I personally love the charm of it being imperfect & is part of the reason I choose these types of label makers. This is just something for personal use so I’m pretty satisfied with it. Also super simple but I really appreciate the clear handle so you can tell when the tape is running out, my last one did not have that and it’s a sad time when it runs out in the middle of a label.

Such a fun, unique labeler!
I love this labeler! I've used it to label my personal items at work and my metal water bottle. The labels look great and stay put - even with all the washing my water bottle has gone through! It's very easy to use and I love that you get multiple label colors. Can't beat the price, either! That being said, just be aware that this is not an electronic labeler. You punch each letter by hand so it is a little time consuming. I wouldn't use this to print out sentences. You also can't do multiple lines. If that is what you need, you may want to look at a fancier labeler.

Okay so far
This is definitely not as sturdy as the old school ones and I feel it's overpriced at nearly $30. It feels kind of breakable. The lettering is not as clear to read and I've had a few pop off what I've stuck them too. The label tape also does feel a bit thinner than the old ones. But it has scratched that nostalgia itch and I do appreciate the extra rolls. I just wish the build quality felt better.

The letters are not aligned..
I tried a few times but the letters are not aligned, “A” is always lower than other letters and it just doesn’t look nice... and one time the tape started without a space (the top one in the photo) so I had to start over.

This is not what you want
This unit itself stopped advancing the tape after about six uses. It is totally nonfunctional at this point. The tape is glossy, unlike the matte finish of the tape we grew up with. The letters area reasonably clear on the black tape. The letters are indiscernible on the lighter colored tape. Overall, this was a total waste of money.

Mediocre at best, I'll spend the extra and get a better one.
The label tape gets stuck and will not advance, after getting it to work, when you cut the tape and cuts clean instead of cutting the perforated line like it is supposed to. The letters it makes are not uniform, some will be bold and easy to read while other letters are very faint.

Better Embosser
This product is superior to other embossing labelers I’ve used. What I like about it is that it makes a firm, consistent impression of the letters. You do have to spend some time ensuring that the letter wheel is centered to make sure that the text comes out straight. However, you don’t have to Hulk Hogan the dang thing in order to get the letter to fully imprint onto the label. That’s a win. This tool provides a quick, easy, convenient, and affordable way to stay organized.

A must have for scrapbooking
This is so easy to use and the directions are very clear. I love that this comes with multiple colors of ribbon. I’m looking forward to seeing how this enhances my scrapbook pages

Classic embossed label maker.
The app controlled label makers are nice and all but I do really still like the old classic label makers. This one is a type style embossed label maker with a spinning wheel. There is quite a lot of letters and characters to pick from and it all takes a simple pull of the large trigger handle. There is 6 different colours and this includes the 5 rolls of black. It does take a little bit of effort to the roll to go into the track. Once in the track it works really well. I really like the feel of the embossed letters and it brings back memories of my Father’s garage. It is not perfect and that is what is nice about it.When the smart printers batteries run out and there is too many apps, the old reliable manual label makers are always the best.

Makes nice labels that stick really well
We have a thermo type label maker that works pretty well (you control it from an app on your phone) but there's something satisfying about a purely mechanical process in this digital age. This embossing label maker (what we called a dymo-tape when we were kids) physically imprints the shape of each letter in the plastic tape that is pulled through he device. It comes with a number of rolls of label tape in various colours, as well as the standard black. Some of the lighter pastel colours don't show the white lettering very well, but it is still very legible. The machine is easy enough to use, and once you've done it once or twice it's not hard at all. The glue on the back of the labels seems to be very good. We've put some labels on some things that get handled a lot every day and they are not showing any signs of peeling off after a few weeks of use.

Simple label maker for organization
This label maker is really easy to use, and I didn’t have to worry about batteries or ink. All I need to do is turn the dial to choose a letter and press the handle to print. It’s straightforward, and I got the hang of it quickly. The labels come out clear, it raised 3D effect makes them easy to read. Iit sticks well, even in places where it might get wet or greasy. When I need to remove a label, it doesn’t leave any sticky residue too.The handle is comfortable to hold, and the whole process feels smooth. The machine itself is lightweight and portable, so I can take it around the house easily. I also like the pre-cut dividers, which make it easy to tear off the labels. This label maker has been a great little tool for keeping my stuff organized.

Clunky
This label maker is simple, and it works just fine, but it’s a bit clunky and awkward. This is FULLY MANUAL. You have to rotate the disk at the top to each letter, and click the handle each time. You may want to add some space at the front and end of each label otherwise it cuts super close. It doesn’t have a fun feel in your hand if you are planning on using it for any length of time. The package comes with multiple rolls of black tape as well as soft pastel colours which is fun.I also appreciate that it gives you a little bit when you cut it so you can easily peel off the backing. If you aren’t too precious about your letters being straight, because they comes out super wonky, then this is fine.

Quick and easy to use label maker!
This little label printer is straightforward to use. It comes with ten rolls of label tape, which is the only con to this as you will need to buy more, and the label tape can be pretty pricey. The rolls of tape come in 6 different colours, five being black and white, and then one of the following colours: pink, purple, blue, green and gold. This is a manual label maker and does not connect to an app. Instead, it uses a rotating wheel, which you need to press on to print what you wish. This label maker is great for making classic and quick labels. However, app-connected label makers are better for selecting specific fonts, sizes, and other features, such as emojis.
