Seems to be a good value for the money.
I was skeptical about getting this but I figured i could return it if needed.I will say that is is alot better (so far) than expected. Works well with solid wire as well as stranded wire BUT unless the stranded is thick enough it can be tough to do.The instruction manual is lacking. It says to replace the solid oil plug with the plastic 1 provided. No info as to why but 1 did it. No real info on if you should add oil or grease. It list both with no specs. Make sure the breaker hole is pointed up. I added my own gear oil and found it tends to run out and makes a mess. Now it does work well but I only used a few hours. Not sure about the long run. It seems to be well constructed too. It can be a little tuff doing smaller gauge wire.I do recommend it but only giving 4 out of 5 stars at this time

I haven't found a size wire that it won't strip
The thing worked awesome I was afraid to buy it at first but once I started using it I learned how to under use it works great I have stripped a 55 gallon drum of wire that I've been meaning to strip for a long time that I used to do by hand

Wire stripper
The item worked well with the first few times used; however, it jammed up on the next use and we have not been able to use it since them. We wonder if there can be a refund or replacement of this item. This happened within 30 days of purchase. It would surely be very helpful to us.

Really bad quality control. Stripped gear box threads.
I really wanted to like this. I got it in less than a day, bolted her down, and fired her up! Wow, she was loud AF, and vibrated more than I thought was normal. Being outside, I could deal with it, so I ran some wire through it. I had from 14 Guage stranded to 350 MCM pieces ready to go. Well, on the 14 Guage, the wire kept jumping out of the cutting wheel path. I tried tightening the cutter a bit (DONT DO THIS!!!) and it stayed in better, but shredded the copper wire, creating a multitude of mini shrapnel that were surgical sharp and HURT! Cutting wheel depth is crucial on the smaller wire. It did better progressively as the wire got bigger and I got more dialed in. Everything above12 Guage to the 350 mcm was awesome, but the machine was even louder now and I could see the motor loose on the gearbox. I'm no mechanically challenged person, so I pulled her apart and found all four screws loose that hold the motor abapter to the gearbox. Awesome! I'll just tighten these up...right? NOPE!! Three of the four were stripped out and refused to tighten. I discovered that theses screws had been glued in with silicone!!! What? Was the factory so hard up that they tried to fool someone with this after stripping the threads in the gearbox? See the pictures! I was so pi$$ed off! I thought about exchanging it for the same, because it worked really well (briefly). But the trying to fool the consumer part really put me off. I contacted their support and they wanted too much info from me to make it worth my time exchanging this, so I will just return it( after I glue the screws back in). Lol. Bottom line: Great concept, bad execution. Also, a lock nut on the cutting wheel adjustment would be nice. Mine kept adjusting itself. Of course, mine was vibrating like a massage chair for the Hulk, the one you get might be fine.

Good machine will be updating 1 month after use
Works well so far just need to get the hang of it. Was wondering what kind of grease would be best to put for the worm reducer ?
