Motorcycle datatag electronic security system(FREE DELIVERY!!)

I believe in adding security to my motorcycle in different ways to make it more difficult for thieves. I have only just fitted the different parts from Datatag and therefore I cannot comment on how effective they will be but it does give me more peace of mind. The transponders in glass tubes were relatively easy to fit but It was more difficult to find suitable places for the tablet shaped pieces without dismantling the bike and I am sure these would be found if someone did steal it for parts. The datadots I have put all over the place on accessaries and parts which would make it hard to find and destroy. I do not know how thorough the police would be in detecting any of the dots if parts were siezed from a scumbag thief. The other datatag items need electronic devices to find them and again I do not know if all police authorities have these. Only the theft of my motor and subsequent recovery would answer my questions but I think for the money I should have made any thief think a bit more before stealing my pride and joy.

My motorbike was stolen. When I reported that to the datatag them they just updated the system, nothing more, no follow up..Nothing. When I reported to the London police I had datatag on the motorbike I had to explain what that was(!!!) and they barely know about that, forget any device to scan the motorbike in her remote case they stop a motorcycle for controls. Did not work as a deterrent either obviously, probably because those who mmight steal your bike know it's almost useless. Save your money for a theft insurance.

This is my second Datatag kit. It is easy to apply, although the process takes time and needs some care. Make sure you use a sufficient amount of plastic adhesive for the pill-shaped electronic transponder tags. The invisible DNA can be applied with a brush to just about any part of your motorcycle - a great idea and an excellent theft deterrent.Another reviewer commented that the UV stencilling is visible to the naked eye. Personally, I don't have a problem with that as it makes it very obvious to potential thieves that my bike has been datatagged.Recommended.

Must have buy if you own a motorbike and don't already have it. I got about £20 off my insurance quote when I had it fitted so will soon pay for itself. The datatag stickers will also deter the less committed thief (hopefully)

I bought this for my new motorbike as I have had Datatag on every motorbike I have owned. The transponders are easy to fit and the directions are clear and easy to follow. The UV solution and stencils are ok. The stencils stick well and are easily applied. The UV solution isn't as good as the original etching. So Datatag is a definite must have, just not as good as previous versions.

Make sure you have at least 2hours set aside when you are going to fit this, don't put the ultra violet etching any were it will be seen as does leave a residual and would spoil any fairings or mud gaurds. Over all instructions way to use, as other reviewers could not get all the micro dots out and could not be bothered cutting open the little bottle!!

Easy to apply and all done within an hour. The instructions are almost straight forward and would recommend watching the YouTube installation guide as well. Also, plan your wheel and frame locations before you start as the transponders can be fiddly to place when 'glued' up particularly in the wheel.After registering on line there was no 'confirmation' email as stated in the instructions which needed a check call to see if it was successful, the confirmation letter and registration document came through after ten days. Don't forget to send a copy of the letter and the registration to your insurers...
