Our vitamix pitcher was broken. This was a perfect replacement. No issues, fit great. I will say that it actually seems to blend better than the original but that may just be new blades.

Just an excellent replacement and it fits under the cabinet . There’s nothing like new clear fresh and it blends so well and it looks well too. The price was amazing, affordable and i’m glad i made the decision.

Years ago I purchased a refurbished Vita Mix blender. A month ago, I accidentally put the pitcher it came with on the glass top stove that was still hot and it melted a section. I was going to buy another mixer but I wasn't spending a lot of $$$. Nor did I want to pay the Vitamix replacement part price. THEN Lo and BEHOLD, I saw this one!I was nervous if the blades and preciseness of the blades would be the same. They appeared to be.I was so pleased with this product. I highly recommended it until I owned it for one month.I probably used it a total of 4 times to make smoothies Most of the fruit was fresh and the frozen fruit was never ROCK solid and it was mixed in with the fresh papaya, mango, banana, etc.Yesterday morning I did what I usually do and I added frozen pineapple tidbits. I ran the bag under hot water so I could use a knife to help take the portions I wanted. I didn't have to apply heavy pressure to the fruit when using the knife. I NO SOONER turned on the blender and I a LOUD, solid sound like a rock was thrown in the pitcher. The sound startled me. I panicked when I saw almond milk and fruits spewing out!I seriously had NO IDEA what happened. This big chunk of the pitcher's plastic broke. I didn't find a whole piece, but large pieces scattered around. Just to show you the dimensions I placed a green Swedish cloth in there to you can see the dimensions. I WAS SHOCKED! Glad I nor the cat were hit by the sharp pieces.I did investigate what can cause that to happen. First, I can eliminate extreme temperature changes, where the pitcher is very cold and then suddenly exposed to a very hot liquid, causing stress on the glass and potentially cracking or shattering it. I eliminated the impact damage reason because the pitcher never fell on a hard surface to cause a small crack or hole. Finally the excessive blending time was eliminated because I just turned on the blender and it happened like 20 seconds later.So I'm thinking it's because the pitcher had a preexisting crack or hole that the stress of blending caused it to "explode" like that.And/Or cheap, low-quality materials were used, which are more prone to breaking under pressure.

First I'd just like to say that the greedy b@$+@rd$ at Vitamix shouldn't be charging more for a replacement pitcher than 99% of blender manufacturers charge for a full blender kit with accessories. However, their pitcher is superior to this option. This works okay as a replacement and may satisfy those who just puree a soup or are blending margaritas. We mainly use our blender for daily smoothies. We noticed that the chia seeds in our smoothies do not get finely chopped and the overall consistency seems "lumpier". While this pitcher has a nice tight fit on our model 7500 base, the blades on this unit don't seem as sharp and it doesn't have the concaved corners like the original. These differences likely attribute to the mediocre performance of this pitcher. As other reviews have mentioned, the lid does not have a tight fit, so if your original lid isn't in too bad of shape, I would keep it around for use with this pitcher. After all is said and done, we now have a Vitamix that performs like a Ninja.

As a “ replacement “ for the original ( costing three times as much) not bad , but it’s not quite the same thing , planning ordering next from VITAMIX

So happy I chose this blender pitcher. I’ve had Vitamix for a long time. Close to 25 Years!! And the original pitcher had cracked on the bottom causing the blade component to not engage w base. This new pitcher is still 64oz yet it’s wider and shorter. I like it much more! The other one was so tall and difficult to pour into without having to take it off base constantly.

I didn’t realize it need it to be the exact number model. On line they looked a like so much, that l thought it would fit.
