Great Quality and Operation
I almost didn't buy this jacks because of the negative reviews. I'm glad I bought them despite the reviews. They are very useful and are well made. HOWEVER, they don't work miracles. If you expect a handheld device to exert the lifting power of a hydraulic floor jack, you will be disappointed in these jacks. They multiply the power you exert on the handle so you must be strong to lift heavy loads. I found them useful in conjunction with a car jack. I used these jacks to raise, for example, a crate a few inches and then used my mechanical floor jack to raise it more while using these jacks to stead two corners. These jacks are well made out of metal with very little plastic. The fingers do not bend. I lifted a 250 pound load with no damage to the jack. The case is also convenient for storage.

Lite to Medium duty jacks..
First of all, these jacks are marketed as 14" lifting jacks capable of lifting 600#. In my opinion they are neither of those things. You can lift about half that distance and maybe 200# if the conditions are just right. To me these are for lite to medium duty tasks. They are well made and appear to be fairly strong. The lifting motion is pretty smooth, as for the lowering that can be quite abrupt. There is probably a way to do it slowly and smooth, but I have yet to accomplish that. There was slight slipping when I tried to lift a liquor cabinet with a granite top, which probably weighs 350# especially if you do not empty out the bottles first. The main reason for ordering this was to use it to elevate heavy furniture in order to get the furniture dollies underneath to roll away from the walls to clean out the dust bunnies and cat toys that make their way under there. With two of these jacks on one side at a time it can be done, very carefully. The construction of these jacks appears very sturdy. The handles are big enough to be able to get a good grip while operating them. The feet are metal and I wish they had a soft rubber or silicone covering, so I will not worry about damaging my hardwood floors. The set includes clamp arms that you can use, but I have plenty of regular clamps, therefore I cannot see myself using them. A plastic blow molded storage box is included and fits the jacks s as long as you do not attach the additional pieces to them.I was able to use these jacks to attach a heavy gate I made out of some Composite wood planks leftover from another project, and it made the job a little less sketchy and dangerous. The gate probably weighed about 80#.As a DIY guy and weekend wood worker I have many tools and I am glad I was able to add these to my collection. I removed one star simply due to what I feel is false advertising regarding the height and weight capabilities of this tool. I would still recommend it, but for lite to medium duty only....

Couldn't have done it without them......
I needed to raise the seating height of a sectional. Based on how it sits, it would have been difficult for me to tilt each section on its side and line up individual pedestals then flip it back over. I needed to be able to lift each section in the air then place the furniture risers under each leg then set it back down. I had two sets of these and easily suspended each section in the air while I placed the risers then lowered it back down. I couldn't have done it alone without these. For this alone it was worth it... not to mention the other occasions these have come in handy since then.

EZ to use, will make leveling almost anything a breeze
I recently hurt my rotator cuff on my dominant arm. I've used these little jacks way more than I thought I would. A refrigerator that the door was squeaking, leveled it and the door is silent! 2 sets of washer dryers, leveled them by myself, and it took me just a few minutes to do. Press the easy button! 🤣

Solid, Finish-Protecting Lift Jacks at Value Pricing
I’ve had, or used, a number of these lift jacks over the past year or so and all are reasonably the same in design, function, and operability. I ordered this set primarily for the silicon coated base and the included storage box. The coating will hopefully prevent me from scratching up another floor as I did with a jack that didn’t have any protection. The JANNIRESS lift jacks are substantially built with good steel and a silicon coating on the base plate which is a hard requirement for me going forward. There are two jacks in this set which is a “must” as one jack alone is a pretty unstable lift when lifting anything of any width. The lift mechanism works smoothly and easily. Likewise, the jack when raised lowers easily with the ability to rapid descend or in a more controlled manner by squeezing the descent level and jacking lever simultaneously (Note: the pictures regarding descent in the “About This Item” section on Amazon are misleading as the “Uniform descent” example would result in a Rapid descent and the “Rapid descent” picture is essentially how you raise the jack). There are attachments for clamping and hooks for hanging. I’m not sure why either are included as clamps are superior to using this jack as a clamp and this set comes in a storage box negating the need to hang these up for storage in my mind. The one minor problem with these jacks is how hard is to get the clamp attachment or hook on and off the load bearing pillar. The attachments are affixed to the top of this pillar with a Phillips headed screw and a nut, which are easily removed. The fit of the attachments is so tight though that I thought I would need vice-grips to get enough torque to pull them off each time I've removed one. I’m fairly certain these will loose up with use over time but again I don’t see myself using either of these attachment types, so again just a minor issue. All in all, I’m very pleased with this set of lift jacks and see myself using them in my DIY projects going forward. I also think this set of lift jacks is a pretty good value with its current under $50 pricing on Amazon for what you get and the protection provided by the silicon coating.

Junk
Cheaply made, slips when you start to lift anything even fairly light. I tested it on lifting my couch and it slipped just about the whole time. Do not bother you will be disappointed.
