What a cracking storyline! I loved the characters, especially Terry & Pauline, who would have behaved as badly & meddling as portrayed! Leanne was never going to keep her man and Sue was a wreck from the off. I lived the twists and the dreaded anticipation when the garden in the big house comes into play and how sweet of Daves old man to keep the boys secret. I won’t spoil it for others, I really enjoyed this book and some of Carole’s antics were hilarious as this is exactly the kind of estate mentality you witness when brought on a council estate. The ending came to fast for me and I’d wanted the book to last just a tad longer but it was a terrific read. Mandasue is a unique & lovely author. Thanks. Tracy Mckie Peart x

This book moved along at a cracking pace, really well written and thought out story. I guessed who the baddie was pretty early but that didn't spoil it for me. Some horrible characters and some lovely ones. I felt sorry for Sue,who seemed to be very easily taken in by all and sundry but she did come good in the end. Looking forward to reading the next in the series now - I just hope it's as good!

Quite enjoyed this book and found it to be well written. Good story line but was inclined to dwell on the domestic issues of the characters and families involved, rather than the police involvement, which I found questionable. A child abduction is a very serious crime and would surely have drawn a more serious reaction from the authorities.nevertheless, a good read.

From beginning to end I was hooked on the story. All the characters are totally believable. Broken marriages, broken people, abduction and bad decisions are all there. Sue has plenty of problems to overcome. For fans of Mandasue Heller this is one of her best.d decisions and abduction

Love this book, just like all Mandasue's books. You find out the twist half way through and its a good twist! Then you read on eagerly awaiting the characters to workout the twist whilst hoping that the bad guy gets what he deserves. If you like Martina Cole books, you will love Mandasue's just as much!

I am just about to delete this book from my Kindle, a complete waste of cyber space & money. I have read half of the book & it is busy going nowhere, it just drags on & on & on. If you suffer from insomnia I would definitely recommend this as it's managed to put me to sleep for the last 3 nights, no, enough is enough, thank God for the delete button

This is the fifth book I have read by this author and they are just getting better and better. Can’t wait for the next one.
