Makes great crunchy ice for those that like to chew ice; 5/5! I’m giving this machine a 4 stars since it builds up slime easily and is pretty hard/tedious to clean.Updated from 4 to 5 stars as I reached out to the manufacturer and they said it is compatible with ice machine cleaners. I clean it once a week with the cleaner and now I don’t need to hand scrub the inside.It is a little loud but it’s worth it for me to have the machine/ice. Some may want to turn it off at night, especially if you live in a small space like myself.

I'm impressed. It works very well. The day after it came the ice maker on my daughter's fridge stopped working. So they asked me if they could have some ice. I had made up a bag of ice earlier. 😁 I love having my own ice maker as I've been taking theirs for a long time. It makes ice at a good pace. And they even supplied an ice bag! So far it is good!

Works good. Drops a lot of ice. Easy to set up. I wish there was a way i can insulate it better so the ice doesn't melt as fast between emptying

This company has reached out to me 3 times by email trying to compensate me to remove this review. I wonder how many other times that has successfully happened?I was on the hunt to replace a good product that lasted a few years under continuous use. The market has become really oversaturated with countertop ice makers so there was a lot to sort and filter through. I ultimately landed on this product and wish that i had landed somewhere else, any place else actually.THE GOOD:self cleaningeasy to operatethe savings and final pricecompact and not needing a lot of spacethe other customer reviewsTHE BAD:Coming out of the box, the product looked and felt "cheap".The ice, you know the reason for buying an ice maker, melts very quickly.If you don't get the ice soon, it starts to all stick together.25 lb in 24 hours? Don't see it happening. Didn't see it happen.THE UGLY:After being in an aluminum cup with cold tap water, a full glass of ice didn't last 30 minutes...indoors.Louder than expected. Even when 1/2 full of water, still sounds like it's starving.Very fittingly, after deciding to return to Amazon after a week of use, it made a brief noise and died, peacefully, on our kitchen counter. We had a ceremony to celebrate his overachieving life, but with his family genes, this little guy never had a chance.

This ice machine was just what we wanted at first. We loved it. Until the error codes! We haven’t even had this machine for a month and it is now a constant battle. The ice stops being made and it shows an error code. We have taken it apart and done everything to keep it running. Sadly, at this point we will have to now spend more money to get a different ice maker. Very disappointed.

Two sizes, small freeze faster but the large are our favorite. works great I use non tap water filtered from Pur and our fridge has filtered. I put the ice in 5-gallon freezer bags and stock up great for making iced tea with.
