Magic

I was a huge fan of The Jets as a kid in the 80s and their second album, Magic, was just as strong as their debut. The album featured the top 10 hits Cross My Broken Heart, Rocket 2 U, and Make It Real, plus the top 20 hit, I Do You. This set also featured a #1 single on the dance chart, Sendin All My Love. This group played their instruments and the group's lead singer Elizabeth Wolfgramm was an excellent singer, considering she was a teenager when these songs were released. It was great revisiting this album and it still holds up nearly 30 years after its release.

I’m a little bit embarrassed to admit this is one of my favorite albums… I love the lyrics and how they look at love as something magical - not that love isn’t magical now - but the way we looked at love when we were middle school, more like a fantasy. This is reflected, not just in the more more popular songs, such as “Make It Real” but also in songs such as “Anytime”…Anytime soonYou'll turn my wayAnytime nowYou'll learn to sayIt's me you loveYou'll know that I'm the oneWho'll be there anytimeI have the original vinyl version, but I purchased the CD version of this album for $5 on Amazon back in 2007 because I didn’t have a working turntable and I’ve listened to it so many times. Especially when I needed to feel a bit more hopeful about love or life. :) I recommend buying the vinyl version now that turntables are again back in vogue, but whatever format, get this album and it will bring you back to 1987.

I recommend this cd too anybody n age who like this 80's group,i use too have this on cassette tape I doubt if it still work cause the tape can get tangle in old-school steroid back in the day.
