TRQ Front CV Axle Joint Shaft Assembly Set LH & RH for Sonata Optima Hybrid

This item was just as pictured: Complete left and right CV axle shafts WITH axle nuts for a Japan-made 2007 front wheel drive CR-V. They were quite well packaged and arrived on time. They fit just right and were relatively easy to install, aside from removing the old axle nuts. That is another story not at all related to this review.

Easy install

I ordered this for a 97 Sunfire, compatibility tool said it was the right part. Went to install on a customers car and it did not fit. The end that goes into the transmission is flared out on the outer diameter of the female end so it was not able to slide over the splined shaft in the transmission into the hole. I had to purchase another part locally that was not flared and it fit perfectly, they only had one in stock and I needed 2. This was a huge headache that turned my 2 hour job into a 3 day job waiting for a second shaft to be locally available. Will never purchase from this company again. Last note, the car it was “compatible” with not only needed a different part, but it’s supposed to be different for both passenger AND driver, one is female the other male.

No complaints. Easy install. Heavier duty looking than the clicking oe axles with 240,000 miles on them. Higher articulation cv joint make me feel comfortable with lock to lock turning over uneven terrain and possible future lift, the would hold up. Smooth running. Very happy with the purchase. Wouldn't test them against stupid neutral drops to burn out with. Lol
