According to Shark the purpose of this design feature was to make the shape of the shell match more closely to the human head in order to fit better. The quick release ratchet on the chin strap replaces the conventional double D-ring as the retention system of choice. The lens can be taken out of the goggle-frame in seconds, so in this way you can easily customize the helmet to your personal taste. The internal lining of this helmet is made out of anti-bacterial bamboo fiber material. This lining which is used in almost all Shark helmets is removable and washable, ensuring maximum hygiene.
