Didnt think that these would work at first, but.....
I ordered these for my husband, who is an active fishing and hunting guide and used to manage a ranch and rodeo, to help ease any pain and discomfort he has. I ordered these in hopes to help ease his pain and discomfort. I didnt think they would help at first, due to the size, but OH MY GOD! These suckers are magical! Small but mighty is what they should be called! Not only do they help ease discomfort and pain, but the size helps with any activity you might be doing. Im so used to the huge kind of brace where it damn near covers your entire knee area and makes you feel like you cant move your leg. These little guys are small enough to make you feel like your not wearing a brace (hubbys words)

My son has been struggling with tendonitis in his knees for a few weeks now. I ordered this hoping it would help, and it definitely has. He has much less pain while wearing it, so I have ordered a second for his other knee. He wears it every time he exercises.

Inconvenient to put on or remove. Comfortable but not supportive.
Sorry to say, this is not a good knee strap. There are two main issues. First, the part that presses against the patellar tendon is a soft foam material. Yes, it is comfortable, but not supportive enough for the purpose. Usually it is more preferrable to have something slightly harder (e.g. a rubber tube or silicone) that presses against the patellar tendon to give the needed support. WIth just a soft foam, the support is just not there.Secondly, putting on or removing is rather troublesome. The reason is that the velcro is not sewn close to the end, so the edge of the velcro is lifted. When you try to pull the straps to remove it from the metal ring, the edge of the velcro gets caught and you'll need to use your finger nails to shove the velcro edge into the ring in order to properly remove the strap. The issue is the same on both ends of the strap. This is very inconvenient for regular use.
