This is a good brace for those times you need to have thumb support from too much achiness from overuse. Easy to use and sleep in and the cost is easy to handle. Glad to have this for those times my thumb hurts from too much keyboard time.

It's very comfortable and easy to put on

I got this for my mom who has severe arthritis in her hands and especially her thumbs which sometimes hurt very badly and any movement is extremely painful. She has several different braces that she uses daily and depending on what she is doing. But on days when the pain os bad she wears this one. She says this brace is the only one that stops her from moving her thumb completely but in a comfortable way. It fits great and looks and feels quite more expensive than it actually is. It seems like a high-quality brace that would easily be priced twice more.Since it also keeps a large portion of her hand exposed, her hand does not sweat as much as in other braces letting her wear it longer.

My husband suffers from carpal tunnel and Mommy's thumb and we have quite the assortment of thumb braces. While this thumb brace is easy to get on, he will only use it at night time because his thumb is completely immobilized. The brace is reinforced by a steel rod that extends from your wrist up to the first knuckle of your thumb, providing much needed support. But your hand is essentially useless if you're trying to work with it throughout the day. He will use this at night time when keeping your thumb protected is important in order to sleep.

I HAVE SEVERE ARTHRITIS IN BOTH HANDS IN MY CARPO METACARPAL JOINTS. THIS BRACE HELPS RELIEVE THE PAIN I FEEL IF I OVERUSE THOSE JOINTS. CAN BE USED ON EITHER HAND. JUST A LITTLE MORE BULKY FROM OTHER SIMILAR BRACES I'VE USED IN THE PAST.

For context: I dug out an old wrist brace for a recent flare up in my left wrist. Turned out to be De Quervain's tenosynovitis, and although my old brace provided some relief, I didn't realize I was still moving my thumb in ways that continued to aggravate the pain in my wrist. So I searched for a wrist brace that had thumb support and found this one and decided to give it a try. It's a little different from a regular wrist brace, but once you get the hang of it you can tell that this brace immobilizes the thumb, which helps isolate the tendon & muscle that travels from the outside of the thumb down the edge of the wrist. Believe me that it needs this type of rest and this brace allows more room for that. This size fit my small hand, but I did have to wrap the velcro strap around my thumb twice over. No big deal, considering that the important part is that the velcro stays on. The price is reasonable and comparable to other wrist braces and just recently I saw a 10% off coupon for this one. I highly recommend this product. It's saving my hand and it will do the same for yours if you got a similar injury.
