this series is amazing
I liked this approach to a marriage of convenience/ friends to lovers trope. It was still pretty predictable but it wasn’t typical. Not so much drama or misunderstanding. No outrageous unbelievable lies. It was lighthearted. Fun and the right amount of spicy. I suppose it was instant love but it was built over 3 years of friendship so it wasn’t too far fetched. I love how they love each other. Go to bat and handle the hard stuff together. This series really is amazing!

Friends to Lovers, Marriage of Convenience
What a cute read. I love Dex and Lennox’s story. I did feel that their “falling in love” was a tad fast, especially when he skirted around the truth for 3 years. I adore the way she sticks by his side even though his “big boy job” is everything she doesn’t want.

Snapshot
Wow - I totally loved this book! When this series started, Lennox and Dex were just side characters and had very little input into the storyline of the first book. But they were included to tell the backstory of the 2 main characters, and I’m so. Cited they got their own story. Dex and Lennox’s story is so incredible yet painful at the same time. Because they fall in love with each other the first time they meet. But because of circumstances on his side he holds her at arm’s length until the passing of his grandmother. Because of where they both are in life when that happens he asks her to help him out by marrying him, even if they are starting off the marriage as just friends. But once they reach Miami, things get crazy, busy, and challenging for them. Secrets are revealed and attacks are made. Do these 2 have what it takes to survive? I highly recommend you find out! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was the ending for me…
I truly enjoyed this book up until about 85% and then I was very let down. The writing style was good, character development overall was pretty good, spicy scenes were perfection (i wish there were more), and the side characters really added to the story. The ending however cost this book two stars. It felt rushed and under developed. It’s like all the glory and creativity failed at the end and it made me sad.I’m sorry Kay…

Book Review
I loved the first book in this series but I do felt like this one wasn’t as good as the first. I loved Lennox’s character in the first book but I felt like in this book she wasn’t what I expected. Although she was seeking independence through the first book and the beginning of this one, I don’t feel that she actually got it. Also, i don’t feel we got to experience the slow burn of their relationship, it was all very rushed and the marriage of convenience very quickly became a real marriage. I did still very much enjoy the book and reading Dex and Lennox’s journey but was just a little disappointed.

trouble
This kind of took me forever to read. I feel like if we cut out some of the story in the beginning there could’ve been more to the ending but that’s just cause my personal dislike for time skips.Cause once an author puts one month later then it’s 3 months then it’s a Year then it’s 5. Then they’re old and gray hanging with Grandkids.Very well written. Spice was decent. Wouldn’t say my fave but it was there. Nice for an evening read. That SNAKE could be seen from a mile away. Well from me it could be seen. Little tells that gave it away.Anywho definitely give it a read !

FINALLY
Ok ok I love Kay Cove. This is a fact since I’ve reread Camera Shy twice in the last year. I don’t know if it counts as a spoiler but I am SO HAPPY there wasn’t an act three breakup in this book. I got nervous since they got together so early but I’m not mad honestly. Ended good. Minimal cringe. Likeable characters (I need Spencer’s book!!). A very pleasant read. Onto the next!
