Nice polisher, convenient not having to get a long cord out. Not quite as high speed as my Rupes but it works fine. I polished wet sanded areas back to a gloss. The makita brand unit was ridiculously priced so decided to try this and was pleasantly surprised. If it breaks in a year I really cant complain at 1/4 the cost. It will use a couple batteries polishing a whole car. Im using a wool cutting pad and correcting paint defects as well as polishing hazy headlights. Not simply removing wax. So if it works well for my uses should be fine for anyone.

Update: seller gave a refund. Thanks!!Put a genuine Makita 18v battery and it spun for about 3 seconds before locking up. Returning

Seems well made. Works great for now.
So far it works well with my makita batteries. Only has a few hours of use. Will update if it stops working.Comfortable grips and ambidextrous handle mounting. Variable speeds work well.
