【2024 New】 AVATTO Thermostat WiFi Smart Programmable Thermostat with C-Wire Adapter Compatible with Alexa, Google Home Voice Control Home Assistant Smart Life or Tuya App Remote Control

This smart thermostat is great once properly configured through the Smart Life app. Before installing this thermostat, I made sure I have a C wire connection. I took out the batteries from the Honeywell and saw if it turn on or not once I plugged it back into the backplate. Then I powered off the HVAC. And made sure the Honeywell was off before proceeding to unscrew the backplate. The instructions recommend not removing the backplate before mapping the cables, but in my case the cables aren’t visible until the backplate is removed.

Wi-Fi will not stay connected and the thermostat will not keep up. It is always 5° hotter inside than what the thermostat is set for. Wake up regularly in the middle of the night hot because the thermostat will not kick the AC on.

I installed it, but the Thermostat didnt Display anything. Also the Thermostat came loose and was sticking Out slightly, I didnt mind it, until I realized that My they Thermostat wasnt working.

Completed the conversion because I did not have a c wire. The screen didn’t light up or anything. Put multi meter on supply wires and had 24v where it was needed. Defective junk

The thermostat look very nice and colorful, easy to operate and has all the basics of a programmable thermostat. It is also has a well-explained installation manual and there are no difficulties figuring out all the installation nuances using it. Now, what I didn't like and eventually had to remove this thermostat for: it has a very odd fan control algorithm which makes it run fan for hours with no AC or heater unit operating. For example, as temperature outside drops just about interior temperature, this thing starts the fan but does not start the AC condenser. What it does it makes the fan run through the night and makes it feel hot in the house while the thermostat is trying to avoid running AC condenser, it seems. My house fan is very noisy and this mode of operation got me annoyed very quickly so I had to take it off. Worst part is - there is nothing in the settings that would allow you to tweak that. There is one setting that supposedly switches fan control back to furnace, but it makes no difference - as if that setting is just a fake button in the interface. Fan will still run for hours no matter the setting. Very disappointing, had to take it off. For my system, it is useless.

Das Thermostat sieht gut aus, ist leicht zu installieren und zu bedienen. Es macht was es soll m.E. sehr gut, preislich ebenfalls attraktiv.

Ich habe 7 dieser Sensoren gekauft, einen für jeden Raum. Sie funktionieren alle, und sie sehen ziemlich gut aus. Über die App kann man sie ganz einfach kalibrieren und steuern. Ein Stern weniger für die Anleitung, schlechte chinesische Übersetzung, und für die Tatsache, dass sie in China hergestellt werden

In unserer neuen Wohnung (man beachte Neubau) gibt es eine Fußbodenheizung. In jedem Raum gab es zuerst manuelle Thermostate. Wie man weiß, heizt man mit Fußbodenheizungen aber anders. Sie erst nach dem Aufstehen anzumachen oder wenn man von der Arbeit zurückkommt, ist unwirtschaftlich.Nach ein wenig Recherche habe ich mich für dieses Modell entschieden. Die installation ist einfach. Die Inbetriebnahme sowie das Hinzufügen zu SmartLife (es war mir sehr wichtig, dass hier eine Kompatibilität herrscht) war ebenso einfach. Im Sommer ist sie natürlich aus, man kann aber dennoch die Temperatur ablesen (siehe Screenshot)Das einzige "Manko": die Größe. Während das alte Thermostat zu den Lichtschaltern und Schaltern für die Rollos passte, musste ich die Abdeckung für die Schalter hier kürzen/zurechtschneiden, da dieses Thermostat deutlich größer ist (siehe Bilder). Wer hier nicht zu zimperlich ist oder das Thermostat sowieso woanders angebracht hat, wir hier kein Problem haben.Für den Preis echt top. Von mir gibt's eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

I'm using the thermostat for a underfloor water heating system.My system can work in both cooling and heating mode.I've decided to replace my existing thermostat, which was working fine, because it didn't had Wi-Fi module, and this is important for me.What I wish that this thermostat would do better:- have both modes (cooling and heating). Right now it only triggers the "on" only when the temperature is under the specified temperature - basically only for heating mode. I wish it had the cooling mode too - to trigger "on" when the temperature rises over the specified temperature.- in the Tuya app, you have to click on the thermostat name to see the temperature. It's a click more and if you have multiple thermostats you have to click more.- in the Google Home app, it displays the temperature well, right under the thermostat name. It also have both heating and cooling mode. Unfortunately in this app you have no control over the thermostat: no on/off, no way to set the desired temperature, no nothing.Otherwise, the thermostat works fine, as long you accept the limitations.

The media could not be loaded. Schnelle Lieferung. Unkomplizierte Einbau. Selbsterklärende Bedienung. Sieht sehr gut aus. Und sehr wichtig für mich: absolut geräuschlos. Der alte hat gezoomt: nicht laut, eigentlich kaum zu hören, aber das hat mich nachts extremst genervt. Also, 👍🏼
