Bulk substrate bag arrived 1.5 weeks before I was ready to use it. I ordered it early so I could thoroughly check it over for contamination and found none. when I was ready to use it and opened the bag I took a few wiffs of it looking for any fowl smell, found none. I mixed in my colonized grain bag 5 days ago. so far I have seen absolutely zero signs of any contamination growing and the recolonization of the substrate is progressing very fast. at this point I am 100% satisfied with the booming acres 5lb bulk substrate bag. I will update when I have any new info or after I get a first flush. for now all I see in my future is my first successful bulk grow. I decided to step up from all in one bags to give the bulk method a shot!You can spend your life reading through posive or negative reviews on products especially in this category. All I can tell you is mine came as described, free of contamination and i made damn sure I did my best to not introduce any contamination on my end. I feel my review of this product so far is worthy and booming acres did me a solid selling me a legit product.

I love these things you can't go wrong I'm still on my first attempt and everything going great so far the bag is sturdy it does not break when you mix everything up and break it up inside the bag and it's well worth the money try one out and have fun enjoy

The substrate has always produced great mushrooms. Retains moisture and does not dry out. No need for sanitizing. I don't buy anything else.

Came well packaged sterile
Great quality came properly hydrated no need for extra water this had improved my flushes in the past. Will most definitely be getting more.
