Not big enough for looseleaf paper
This binder is great, but it's not as big as I thought it would be. It is made of great quality leather, and I love the little pockets for note storage or card storage. This is best for a small note pad but not big enough for looseleaf. This is great for notes and around the office.

just okay, works but is nothing special
At 11 USD this is kind of a get-what-you-pay-for item. I received it as a free item through Amazon Vine Voices, but I'm not sure it would be my first choice for an A5 binder. The material feels inexpensive, but not like it would be particularly easy to damage. I don't understand what the flap of cardboard/plasticky stuff affixed under the rings is for. The rings open and close properly, and it's nice to have all those pockets in the front, as well as a pen loop. It does not come with paper, so be prepared to supply paper of the correct size and with the six holes punched out. Pretty good for portability.
