I take this with my Vitamin D. You've probably seen Vitamin D and K2 bundled any time you've searched either, here is why. Vitamin D is critical in a lot of ways to your body, including a strong immune system, a topical issue in our time. Sadly, Vitamin D is simultaneously the vitamin that the largest number of people in the world are deficient in. Because unlike other vitamins, you can't get enough from diet, even if you were to eat exclusively Vitamin D rich foods. Outside of supplements, the only way to get sufficient Vitamin D is from bright sunlight, which few people get enough of. So, most people concerned with their health should and do supplement Vitamin D. However, for all the importance of Vitamin D, one common side effect of too much of it is hypercalcemia, too much calcium building up in your blood. Leads to unpleasant things like kidney stones. Vitamin K2 prevents this and keeps your body processing calcium properly even with extra Vitamin D. Now you know why it's a common pairing.Now, when it comes to supplementing K2, there are two common forms. MK-4, derived synthetically, and MK-7, derived naturally, usually from fermented soy beans, just like this product is. I prefer MK-7.Generally you want 100-200mcg of MK-7 for every 125mcg (aka 5000 IU) you take of Vitamin D.Thanks to the Vine program, I have a whole assortment of Vitamin D supplements but not all have included enough K2. This supplement helps me correct that. It's a generous quantity for the money, the capsules are flavorless and fairly small (not tiny but small enough), and I like that the dose is broken into 2 capsules. Since some of my Vitamin D supplements need the whole extra 100mcg K2 or more, but some only need 50mcg.I'll also happily rebuy this with my own money when I run out. I've reviewed a lot of Carlyle supplements through the Vine program. All have been well packaged, good quality, and affordable. I consider it a very dependable brand for affordable supplements.

Vitamin K2 MK7 Is something I learned about back in 2021 and I’ve been taking it ever since, it helps distribute the calcium you take or get from foods better. Most people don’t understand that most supplemental calcium you take doesn’t absorb properly and ends up as calcium deposits that affect our joints. There’s only one calcium that the body will absorb 95% of and that’s citrate so taking Vitamin K2 MK7is very important and it can help distribute whatever type of calcium your taking better. So it promotes bone health, best thing to do is always do research on any supplements you take so as to better understand them as well as see if it’s something you actually need? I’ve been an herbalist for 43 years so I always do research. Everyone’s system is different so herbs and vitamins can act differently on people who have the same health issues.I know that taking calcium citrate and Vitamin K2 MK7 has benefitted me. I’ve actually fallen several times, once off a ladder that broke,I ended up pinned under the ladder and had to call for help to get out from under it. I went down about 6 feet yet although I was sore nothing broke on me and I’ve seen people younger then me have broken or fractured bones with falls that were much less impacted. I’m going to be 74 here soon so the years have been adding up but my bones the doctors say are in good shape and I attribute that to the things I take. I highly recommend this product.

Doesn’t feel any difference after taking the whole bottle.

Carlyle Nutritionals LLC was incorporated in New York in 2018, by a family that has been in the supplement industry with other businesses since 1971. Their website says that they use "GMP certified manufacturing and testing facilities". Although they are FDA-inspected, these facilities may be outside the US, since they don't mention being "made in USA" anywhere. The bottle label says "packaged and lab tested in USA".The bottle has a red and gold color combination, with shiny foil accents on the label. It has a perforated clear safety seal around the outside of the lid, and a peel-off seal inside the lid. The one I received in March 2024 has an expiration date of Feb 2027, printed on the back of the label. The label says it is non-GMO, and contains no gluten, wheat, yeast, milk, lactose, artificial color, artificial flavor, artificial sweetener, or preservatives. This product is vegetarian/vegan, since it uses a non-gelatin capsule. I've used several other products from Carlyle and have been satisfied with their quality.
