Q: How long does it last without a charge? Like if there's a couple cloudy rainy days

A fine little clock, so far. It will last several days with no sun at all. It powers down when there is no vehicle vibration, but wakes up when the vehicle feels motion, such as opening the door, jarring the car, etc. I keep mine on continuous charge since my car spends most of it's time inside the garage. There is no noticeable drain on the car's battery, even after weeks of idle time. I keep my clock always on 12-hour time display. The clock's other features are more complicated than they're worth.

Q: How do you stop it from displaying so many weeks? How can i just have the time displaying. Why are is the pictorial in Chinese.

Read the instructions - yes, they are difficult to understand, but you can figure it out. It sounds like you are 1) in the mode for rotating through the displays; I have mine set for just time; 2) when you are in update mode for setting the time, you can also set the number of weeks it displays, but you won't care if you set it to just display time, and 3) setup allows language choice, if I remember correctly, but again, it won't matter once you set it to display only the time. Read the instructions, think about what it is trying to tell you to do, and then fiddle with the device until you get it the way you want. It is a wonderfully reliable accurate device, with flexibility for usb charging.
