These reviews have me perplexed - are there 2 different models being reviewed here? One of the similar looking Mangotek units doesn't charge the phone, but it's much cheaper. Are all these reviews for the same Mangotek unit? Either way, I'll be posting again shortly. For $73.95 this thing better charge both, flawlessly, or I'll be switching back to papaya....and putting the mango in the compost heap... Later on 05/06/18......And now for the long-awaited follow-up:Packaging very Cupertino-ish; falling off a log simple-set up; functions instantly, perfectly first try; both iPhoneX (Spigen Ultra-hybrid case on) and Apple Watch 3 (Milanese loop bracelet) charging simultaneously; phone charger base not finicky about phone's position, watch charger shows nightstand mode by default. All is very well!05/07Regarding trouble placing phone on charge plate - I have been amazed to notice that my iPhone X pings with the charging signal before it's actually put down, that's how strong the charge loops seem to be. I've tried, but can't find a way to put it on the base where it WON'T charge. No luck! :-)05/11 Still flawless, but....from reading (at this point) the most recent review, it's clear that these reviews are about 2 different models of the Mangotek piece, and one of them definitely WILL NOT charge a phone wirelessly because it's not supposed to. This one DOES CHARGE flawlessly, and very quickly, and it costs $73.95. The OTHER Mangotek piece is selling in the $35-ish range and is a watch charger with a usb outlet to charge the phone, and it works quite well I'm sure, but trying to have the base charge a phone is like expecting a cow to hand you a milk shake.People are looking at the reviews and getting very confused. It's not the product that's the problem. Why doesn't someone involved in selling these things straighten this out? It can't be helping anyone.I almost never post, but I was so puzzled by the reviews at first it took me a while to buy the one ($73.95 - and it has a grey base with Mangotek on it and a giant wifi-type symbol in the middle - the other model does not have the wifi symbol for obvious reasons. Do a little detective work with the reviews and you can get the right one; it's a really solid steel piece unlike any "cell accessory' I've ever seen, build and weight wise; it's solid.

So I was really excited to receive this product after purchasing an iPhone XS Max. I already have an Apple Watch series 1 and was getting tired of the wire clutter on my nightstand. This was the only wireless charger that hit all the marks. For the first 2 months, it worked perfectly. Then, I kid you not, 1 week after the return window for this product closed, the charging pad portion completely stopped working. I tried it with the phone case off, on, watch on or off the stand and NOTHING. I waited a few days, plugged it in and out etc. For $60, I was furious that this wouldn't even last longer than 3 months. Luckily, I contacted Amazon and they processed the return even though it was outside the return window.LISTEN to the other reviews that mention this same problem and don't fall for people giving 5 star reviews without having had it for over a few months.

Pros:- Construction is solid and the product stays in place on a nightstand. I've had previous products that weren't weighty enough and would migrate around my nightstand.- The materials used in this product are top quality, it feels like something that came from Apple.- Rapidly and simultaneously charges an iPhone 8 Plus, Apple Watch, and iPad Pro.- The small form factor is great for smaller nightstands or desks.Cons- The arm that arises from the base to hold an Apple Watch is poorly placed. I find that I have to intentionally and perfectly place my iPhone on the wireless pad for it to work. A little off-center, and there's no charge.- The green light on the side of the charger stays on all night. This doesn't bother me, but it drives my fiance crazy. A little duct tape over it - problem solved.

After a month of trying to find a 3 in 1 wireless charger, I came to this solution. For myself, the price was never the issue, it was about compatibility and function. This device met that demand and works flawlessly. After reading several reviews for this purchase I too was concerned. However, after having for over a week now, I am telling you future buyers not to be. This Charging stand has worked for my iPhone X, Apple Watch Series 4, and Airpods excellently. I simply place on the device and wake up in the morning with fresh charged IoT devices. I purchased a small 4 inch USB cable for the Airpod case. Since this is MFI and Qi certified I am willing to pay the price as well as the stainless steel very heavy and durable stand. One thing I have learned over the years of electronic shopping is that certifications matter.As others have mentioned, the blue light (mine is blue) is bright during the night, but not a concern for my wife and I. That IMO is one of two negative, but certainly not the most important. Two is that there is no mention of what the light means. For example, I have deducted the following from my experiences. However, I am not certain they are correct. Maybe the seller can comment or verify. Recommended.Solid Blue = Power on to the device.Pulsing Blue = Devices are charging.Red = (somethings is wrong...in my case I did not have the phone placed properly)

I was skeptical at first when I was reviewing this item because of all the reviewers talking about the bottom half not charging, only the watch charges. Just be careful what you buy because Mangotek gives you options, whether you want just the watch to charge or the dual wireless charge that costs more! I ordered the duel charger and I couldn’t have been any happier! It just works!!! Just buy this thing! You won’t regret it! It’s also well made, feels very premium and packaged with quality. Mangotek did not cut and corners with this product! Also the charging cord is long enough if you have high dressers or counters.
