Does what it’s supposed to!
Held off on buying this for about a month due to the low number of reviews, but decided to bite the bullet and give it a try. I have a Xbox series X and a 3440 x 1440 monitor that only had a hdmi 2.0 port. Due to this I could only run games at 60fps out of the hdmi 2.0 port on my monitor. Got this and I can now run games at 120fps.I will say it is worth researching if your xbox can support 1440 resolution on your specific monitor. My xbox runs at native 4k and the monitor downscales to 1440 which is fine but worth noting.

Works for direct connection, but (like similar cables) only @30 Hz through KVM switch
This works as expected in a direct connection between computer and monitor, but it only gets me 30 Hz when going though a KVM switch. This seems to be not this particular cable's fault, though. I bought three other cables with the same specs and they all behaved the same way.BTW, the KVM switch is a powerful one supporting 144 Hz, the AV Access iDock D23.

Works just as it should
This cable works to connect our HDMi monitor to our PC,i the refresh rate at 2k is 120hz and the image is really improved with this cable. The cable itself is strong and well made and should last a good long time. We highly recommend this cable.

Did not work for me - UPDATED
UPDATE:I was able to try a different HDMI monitor and this monitor worked perfectly with the DP to HDMI adapter. As soon as I turned the monitor on it lit up with my windows screen. There must be an issue with the fist monitor I tried. I have adjusted my star rating from a 1 to a 5 to reflect this. The price is low enough that if you need this type of adapter I would not be afraid to try it out.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I ordered this display port to HDMI adapter as I needed to connect a HDMI monitor to a computer that had an open display port connection. I followed the directions on the product page, first plugging the adapter into my video card, then the HDMI wire into the adapter and then into the monitor. My monitor showed a message that it was connected via HDMI, but then it went to no signal. I was unable to get the monitor to receive a signal while using the adapter on the display port. I did plug the monitor into one of the HDMI ports and it worked fine.I don’t know if I was doing something wrong or if this adapter just doesn’t work for my setup. My video card can drive up to four monitors and I was adding a third.

Works fine with 144Hz 1440p monitor.
Video cards are progressively going towards having more DisplayPort than HDMI ports. This makes converters like this essential for those still swinging some HDMI only monitors and/or TVs. I tried this on my Dell 1440p monitor and it worked fine at 144Hz, which was the max refresh rate on the HDMI port. Build quality is a bit on the cheap side. Just a plastic HDMI side and a regular PVC jacket on the short cable. Nonetheless, no issues operations-wise and that's the main criteria.
