DELICIOUS!!!!!
Why this has low ratings is such a mystery to me!! I have had a very deliciously positive experience with all the ChocZero cookies I’ve had so far!! These butter cookies are similar to what we call Polvorones in Mexican bakeries, which are butter cookies that crumble when you bite!! The only downside (For me) is that after my 40lb weight loss in 2 months I have really tried to strictly adapt to a keto lifestyle but I was such a foodie this has been sometimes a challenge - back to the downside- a serving size of these bad boys is only 4 cookies and I wish I could eat the entire tray with my morning coffees!!! These are delicious and they’re on the more affordable end of all these keto friendly treats so I recommend everyone doing keto or no sugar give these a try! And if you like chocolate cookies OMG try their fudge striped cookies!! They taste as close as healthy can get to the original Keebler striped cookies!!

For low carb, these are great.
If you are new to low carb, these might be disappointing as all low carb is, during the first stage. These are dry. If you've done any baking in the low carb style, then you know that the texture of low carb can't come close to high starch, most people talk about gluten but to me it's the starch, that I miss so much. These come so amazingly close to that texture, slightly sandy, crumbly texture that these type of cookies have. The reason is due to that dryness some might complain about. Make yourself a protein smoothie, cup of tea, or hot cocoa, and enjoy these.I plan on dipping in chocolate, white chocolate, add sugar free sprinkles, that match the occasion. Although I wouldn't use these, remember there are peanut butter baking chips and caramel, and possibly more to expand your options. Here is a simple protein smoothie recipe. Add flavorings per yours preference, can swap milk for tea or coffee, make it cold or leave out the ice and make it a hot beverage;1 cup unsweetened cashew milk (or milk replacement of choice)1 cup crushed ice (omit for hot beverage)¼ cup egg white powder2 tablespoons sugar replacement, heaping if using Allulose2 scoops Collagen (optional)Pinch SaltAdd flavorings such as vanilla, cocoa powder but then also add equal amount of sugar replacement, strawberry, use peanut powder, etcetera.Use either a personal blender or a regular blender and blend. Be very careful when using a personal blender with hot liquids. Research it first, for safety reasons.Use CopyMeThat.com free membership to save all your recipes.

It isn't a sewing kit!
They're a bit powdery and have a fairly bland taste. I think this is a limitation of the gluten free and everything else free recipe. They're still good and can scratch the cookies itch without spiking my sugars dangerously. 4 cookies is a serving and that's not unreasonable in carbs. I found half a serving usually hit the spot. They dip well. They're not tiny. They're also sealed well. I had some issues closing the lid once I opened the container. The paper cups have no room for shifting. I appreciate the quantity present. My nieces like them and they're very picky. So while they're not the most amazing flavor I have had they taste good enough. They're also not super thin or hard. I do think they're a bit expensive for what they are but it's nice to not have to stress the carbs and it's nice to feel like I can just have something instead of micromanaging it. Nothing beats home made but it is also nice to not have the time cost for this.

Delightful AF.
The media could not be loaded. So I’ve been a fan of the tinned shortbread cookies my entire life. It was a staple in my home growing up. However, I had to remove the standard, classic, find-em-everywhere kind from my life some time ago because I was a semi-fat whale (probably from eating too many shortbread cookies but I digress) so I came to terms with the fact long ago that I would never taste the standard tin cased shortbread cookies deliciousness again. I would longingly stare at the originals in my own home every year because they still remain a standard in my home to this day (families, holidays, you know how it goes). I just accepted they were no longer for me and I begrudgingly remained committed to abstaining indefinitely while my family enjoyed them.I thought shortbread cookies like these were a thing of my dietary past—UNTIL NOW.I have purchased countless items from ChocZero and have always been beyond pleased. I was unaware of the existence of these cookies until I was casually looking on Amazon for god only knows what at the time and immediately bought them. Even though I have come to find ChocZero never disappoints in general I still was expecting these to be a subpar knock-off version of the classic because how could one match the decadence of the original without the artificial BS? So I was cool with this likely being a “close enough” substitute. For those following a “keto” or paleo type lifestyle, you eventually grow accustomed to imitations not quite being the same as their corn syrup laden counterparts. The artificial sugar or weird aftertaste that is often associated with “diet” or “keto” spin offs is something you just sort of expect. So “Close enough” was the expectation for me and honestly “close enough” would still have been great…so imagine my surprise when I popped one of these delicious little nuggets of happiness into my mouth and it was SO close to the original that I almost worried I bought the wrong ones. I ate another and another and then had to stop myself knowing this is how I became the glacial-paced whale I once was so I had to stop myself from eating the entire tin. Self restraint is key with these crunchy sweet concoctions of wonder. It WILL bring you the nostalgic delightfulness of their Standard-American Diet counterparts, you WILL want to eat them, you WILL wonder why these aren’t on every store shelf everywhere because they so closely rival the originals but for a fraction of the cost to your waistline and health. So many things WILL transpire upon consumption but one thing that won’t. You will NOT regret buying these. I’m honestly munching on one as I type this wondering what sorcery the ChocZero folks have to pull this off with such precision. I don’t know what kind of magic ChocZero clearly possesses but if it continues to bring this level of tasty delightfulness into our lives, I support it and I strongly encourage everyone to buy these to keep the magic alive in their factory of wonder.

Buttery with no aftertaste
These taste almost exactly like the non-low-carb versions. Real butter, crunchy shortbread fooled everyone that ate it. The common response from my guests was “Mmmm”. The only difference is that they are slightly (with the emphasis on slightly) drier than the sugar full version. Will def buy again.
