As advertised!
Great product! If you simply follow the instructions you'll be very satisfied! But if you do not follow the instructions it's going to be totally up to you and if something's happens to it that's going to be only your fault, otherwise product is perfect and it's exactly as advertised!

Great to power a gaming laptop (260 Watts) on road trips. Good efficiency.
Had it professionally wired (60A, fused) to my car's battery. After hours of use, only gets warm to the touch, emits no noise. Very happy with my purchase.

Bummed that I couldn't get the full 800w
Bummed that I didn't get the full 800w, but after I connected it to my battery directly, I got close. My voltage with my alternatore got close, but didn't stay above 12v which was obviously the problem.Hence the 5 stars... performance was limited by my batter and not the device. It was quiet and seemed to work flawlessly otherwise.MY ONLY COMPLAINT: what is the deal with the tiny 2ft cables!?!?!?

Works good
Seems well made. I like the solid aluminum construction of the outer shell, good for dissipating the heat. Battery clips are robust. Cigarette lighter plug and cord seem a bit lightweight, of course most cigarette lighters will only provide 10 amps which would give you a hundred Watts or so, but I still prefer to see a little bit heavier construction.Unit has a very low low voltage cut out, mine quit at 10.3 which is way too low for lead acid batteries to survive cycles. So by the time this thing quits drawing power from your battery, your battery is going to be damaged. Overvoltage cut out kicked in around 15 v. Battery gauge on the display provides a decent idea of battery state. At the moment I could only load it to 300 w, but it worked fine. Pretty quiet. Looking inside through the ventilation ports it seemed well constructed. Nice bonus that it has 4 USB ports as well as two AC outlets.Only weird thing is that you can see in the photo where it says load above the LCD display, but nothing lit up on mine, neither with no load or 300 watts it didn't show the percentage of load at all. Looking at the display with a flashlight up close, it doesn't seem that that's even a feature in the display, so I don't know why they printed load on the case. It wouldn't have taken much for them to include it a load percentage, which is often provided on higher output inverters in this range. Knocked off a star for that, and for the all but indecipherable owners manual.

Such a convenient device!
I bought this to attach to a 12V battery that was installed in the back of my daughter’s Jeep when she camps in her car-tent. She can plug in a fan, charge her phone or use a light as some examples of use. It makes it so convenient for her and does not take up much space! She loves it! The battery charges while she drives and the on/off switch lets her turn off the charging of it and make use of the inverter when she is ready to use it. It has made her weekend camping much more pleasurable! It’s a great device with multiple outlets.

Powerful
This inverter is nice. It's powerful, and has great features. The digital read out is nice, and it has screw on terminals, so, if your power cable gets lost, or damaged, you can easily replace it with a new one. I had a smaller unit that I was using, but the cable got messed up, so I ordered this one. This one is a noticable improvement in power and, as mentioned, I can fix any future power cord problems with this unit, should I have an issue. I would definitely recommend this inverter.

Downstairs put out 500 watts
This thing won't charge 180 watts plugged in the cigarette lighter! I needed it to charge my solar generator between camping trips useless for that.
