I don't have room for a knife block, I have to put the knives in a drawer. These edge guards are good quality and fit the knives perfectly.

I have used several brands and these are superior in everyway. The size advertised fits perfectly the knives recommended for it. I use the each of the knives numerous times in food prep weekly and after a year for some they have held up well.

These were exactly as described, and work very well. However, they are extremely tight and it’s a little scary inserting a large knife. They actually work much better if you are right-handed. Left-handed users, such as myself, will find it awkward to start the knife into the slot. I just have to be very careful when using them because they are somewhat difficult to use if you are left-handed.

These knife shields keep my knives sharp and allows for safe retrieving from the drawer.No issue removing knives now. Fingers are no longer cut or hurt. Easy to use. Will order more.

I had a very awkward sized knife caddy, so I got these sleeves so I could compactly store them in the silverware drawer. Fits perfectly!

My Victorinox 8" Chef's Knife has a handle with a 45-degree angle where the handle meets the blade. Other guards I have tried have straight edges, which caused a portion of the razor-sharp blade to be exposed even though the guard was technically long enough. This set's large guard has an angled edge which allows for complete coverage of the blade. The guard isn't heavy or bulky. It fits snugly but is not hard to get on or off. My knife is now able to be safely stored in a drawer without fear of having an exposed blade.

I was unable to get the smaller knife sizes for Chef Sac so I bought these. I had received the Chef Sac knife sleeves a week before these for my larger knives and I really loved those sleeves. I thought these sleeves would be similar and they sort of, but the fit isn't quite as snug/clean and the outer part of the sleeve is not as nice as the Chef Sac sleeves.A comparison of the 2 different companies: Chef Sac has a nice design on the outside, nice to the touch. This universal one has no design. That's not huge.The thing I really liked about the Chef Sac was that it wasn't just a straight edge all the up the sides like this universal ones. It allows for easier slipping in the knife than these universal ones.And the Chef Sac is much more snug, so the knife really stays in the sleeve. I have one knife that I have for the universal that is more like a boning knife that I keep in the universal. The blade is small but somewhat long and because this universal sleeve, sometimes the knife slips out.Honestly, if Chef Sac offered the knife sleeves in smaller sizes, I would have bought those instead and have returned these. They're sufficient, but I'm really not all that happy with these sleeves.
