Annabelle & Aiden: Worlds Within Us

I bought all three books in the Annabelle and Aiden series after reading rave reviews here and on other websites. I had high hopes but was not impressed. There are other books about evolution and the formation of the universe that are much more engaging. Some of the interesting facts were printed in such light text and odd fonts that we couldn't read them. The rhyming text just didn't work and was painfully awkward in some parts. The illustrations were just okay. I may return them even if I have to pay return shipping. These aren't books that you'll read more than once.

I like how they said that we are all connected and that we know nothing for sure about the big boom. It’s exciting to find out more. There will be questions that no one will know but you can always find out on your own. I also like the characters and how they asked questions about our world.(Written by my fourth grader!)

I absolutely love this book... oh... and my 5yo daughter happens to love it as well... It does a great job furthering the conversation of how awesome the universe is... be prepared for a long talk with many questions... but watching your child start reaching toward these concepts, such as the nearly infinite size of the universe is just amazing.

great intro for kids to consider the vastness of the universe. great how discarding magic thining can be turned around for inspiring awe for the wonders of the universe. I would not oppose feelings to reason though, or discard feelings as erroneous as the tendency tends to come by. they have their place just as reason and science has its limits. Good to stay open to theories and go beyond.

The illustrations are beautiful. The words on the ebook were not always clear on their backgrounds. On a physical page the formatting would create a neat effect. I loved how they explained that we are part of our world.

This was the first book in the series that we purchased for our kids. None of us were disappointed! It's an awesome book and the artwork is fun and entertaining. This is a great book for any child with any interest in science at all! Can't wait to read the rest of the series!

Great Book! It's one of my son's favorites! Joseph Becker does a great job writing interesting stories and getting kids (and adults) interested in science. I highly recommend!

What a lovely book! Beautiful sentiments, and I love the science-made-simple style. It was very informative without being boring or too confusing for kids to understand.

This book is beautifully written and perfect for secular parents wanting to give their kids a a scientific and natural view of our world, universe and us!

Great book to help curious little minds. I bought this for my five year old.
