One of the support bars did not have the required holes to attach it to the chair legs and could only assemble 3 of the 4 stools. Tried to contact seller but could not. Only option was to return all the chairs. Would like to keep but have replacement part sent.

5-14-24 updateThe seller shipped out four replacement legs without defects. Updating from two stars to 3.5.These were the cheapest stools of this style I found on Amazon, so I guess you get what you pay for (they still seemed expensive to me).They are sturdy and cute enough. The backs are short and don’t show above my countertops. I got 26” stools. I’m glad the backs are optional because, even though they add a bit of style, they keep you from sliding your butt any farther back on the stool, which makes it feel like you’re going to slide off the front of the stool. I’m short, and my kids said the same thing, so it’s not like we’re just too tall for the seat.These stools are NOT white. They are pale gray/beige with a hint of green. In the pic, you can see them compared to a trash can, which is truly white, my gray floors (stools come closest to matching the floor), and my creamy white cabinets (stools also match the cabinet color in the shadows).The parts came with scuffs on them, one of which I took a picture of. Turns out the scuffs can be scrubbed off with elbow grease and a magic eraser, but who wants to scrub brand new items?The biggest deal is that four of the 16 legs came with holes not drilled all the way through. The bolts won’t go through the incorrectly drilled holes, and the legs won’t sit flush against the stool base because of the bits of metal sticking out of the holes. I’ve contacted the seller about this, and we’ll see how they resolve it. At this point, I only have enough properly made parts to make three stools.

If you’re ordering this set make sure someone is home to give the driver the 6 digit code that Amazon provides you or they will not be delivered. With that being said, assembly was easy and took maybe 20-30 min in total. They look great and are super easy to clean especially when you have little ones. I would definitely recommend!
