BETTER THEN THE OEM IT REPLACED
I recently had the OEM temp sensor in my KK Liberty fail by literally pulling out of its PLASTIC threads. Yes, the original IS PLASTIC. This sensor is metal and works perfectly in the system giving off correct readings per laser temp gun verification. Due to the manifold threads not being so healthy because of the original, I was worried it might be an issue to install the metal one and cross-thread, but it went it straight and easily. Car runs better now as the PCM is once again getting correct temperature of the coolant and correctly compensating fuel mixtures to match.
