XL High Dome Propagator [AMAZON ONLY]

I did that thing... where you buy an item and don’t actually check the dimensions. I was surprised at how big this was when it turned up! It was huge! I had to figure out where the hell I was going to put it. There was no chance this beast would fit a windowsill unless you have a really deep windowsill.It’s currently sitting on our kitchen counter top and has been fabulous for helping me start my container garden during lockdown. Sturdy, good quality piece of kit for the gardener, and what I particularly love about it is the height of the lid. It allows you to keep your plants in there longer when they start to shoot up.Really pleased, so glad I bought it. Lovely item and well packed when it arrived 👍🏻

Broke within 5 days

This is brilliant. My seeds have grown much faster than they did when I just covered containers with cling film. The condensation it generates means you don't have to water them every day. It is high enough for seedlings to grow tall enough to be ready to be planted out in the garden, rather than too much re-potting. And it makes the kitchen worktop look so much tidier than it did when I used individual pots. And it makes it much easier to carry everything up and down 3 flights of stairs to and from the garden. The best thing about it is, when I open it, it smells like my grandfather's greenhouse - happy childhood memories.

For my veg brilliant

To be clear this is not an electric propagator and is not sold as such. When I need to heat it I use a heat mat. Where it helps is in the extra height which enables me free up space in my other propagators grow on early sowings a little more than before.

Great product, came fast and in perfect condition but it is a huge propagator, this same propagator is £25 elsewhere, definitely worth the price when I consider I’ve had tiny domes in the past that have cost £10 plus.

With the high dome I could keep my tomato plants in it in 3 inch pots until they needed potting on into 5 inch pots. So I did not need to use any heat until then. Great buy.

Very fast delivery and seller very helpful. Yes I would buy this product again as it does give the seedlings a good start, with the higher top.
