was so excited to find this growing up we had a tree and havent had these in years .........got it today and had to try some .. its sooo thick and goeey and whole pieces of the fruit are easily seen i only used a little bit .. cuz im diabetic but its sooo good i ordered the white one too but i didnt taste it yet and im sure coming from the same place its just as awesome !!!!!!!!!!!UPDATE: I tried the white mulberry preserve and its thick and gooey and good but it tastes like honey .. again, only used a tiny bit but the whole pieces of fruit are in there !!! Will definitely get the black one again and would like to try some of the other flavors from this company !

The product arrived quickly and intact. The taste is good, but extremely sweet and only faintly like mulberries--more reminiscent of prunes, even with whole berries in the jar. If you grew up eating mulberries right off the tree like I did, you might not enjoy this product.
