DS1200LD 5-Blade Height Adjusting Push Reel Mower

Lightweight, easy to assemble and use, nice wide cut, and a real looker. However, sad to say, one wheel was bent out of alignment - I presume as it was being shipped from China. The mower works well enough for my purposes, so I didn’t risk breaking it completely by messing with it.

This thing was not aligned at the factory. It was my first time using this mower, and did not understand why it cut grass so badly. I read the instructions: They said alignment was not necessary, because it was done at the factory. After cutting grass over and over (the same spot mind you), I decided to follow the instructions to align the cutting blades. Sadly it took me several tries to say the least. If you are familiar with these machines it may not be a problem for you. It did arrive early. It was easy to assemble. I recommend adding some oil to the blades and wheels from time to time. It is starting to cut grass better. I may have gotten it close enough to proper blade alignment. Also you must not let the grass grow too much, because it will be harder to cut overgrown grass. I sure after I get the align down it will cut very well.

This mower is perfect for my golf green I made in my backyard. I was wondering how to cut it and read it cuts as low as 1/2 inch and it does. I used it the first time and it came out great. It’s easy to use and lightweight but solid. It looks like a golf club green that’s going to need a grooming in a couple of days. Hopefully my putting will improve!

This thing is great!!! I moved into my rental home about 2 weeks ago. My front yard was pretty high, and this cut it with some elbow grease. I went over shorter grass in the back and it was a breeze!!! Four stars instead of 5 because it doesn't cut the thicker weed type grass, and it gets sticks caught. But that is probably because it's this type of mower. i have never used one like this, so have nothing to compare. I pulled the thicker stuff by hand and my yard looks great. I also did 4 because when I debated between this and another I choose this because I felt the weaker height adjustments were better than the loudness of the other brand. I saw youTube of the other brand, but could find none of this. The height adjusters are thin like I knew, but this mower is noisy as well. No big deal. I love it. Great exercise, too. Many people stopped me saying they didn't know you could still buy these. Lol. One guy even gace me his yard guys info thinking I was not going to have good luck. They came over after and said my yard looked great. Such a great price to help the environment, and get some extra cardio while I do chores!

The design is poor. Handle bent before first mow was complete. Was able to bend it back but it's definitely going to snap before the season is over. A mower like this is designed for small flat yards that have been well maintained.

It works to cut but isnt sharp enough to cut any better than a gas mower. Also, the adjustment part on it is pretty easy to warp. It was shipped bent and I had to take it apart and hammer it straight. I've never used this type of mower before so I dont have any to compare too, but this one doesn't seem ideal.

I bought this mower because it would be good exercise and easy to use on the land vlose to our home, let me tell you I'm glad I did! It works great!

Adjustment screw are not appropriate for operation. Adjustment for handle and adjustment for cut length should be separate. Very cheap.
