12" Shark Tooth Sifter

Q: How far can you dig in wet sand with this? I want to find snad fleas in the winter and need dig 4-5 inches deep. Work this work??

Shouldn't be too hard to do that. You may have to make 2 scoops in the same area to get around 5 inches deep. I know when I used it for shells, I caught lots of sand fleas as well.

Q: Is the 12" the largest one made? Looks to be 2 different sizes in the photos.

Same size , but they do make 2 -3 different size for sure !!

Q: Does the handle breakdown?

I have only used it once. It is hard to handle and if I could I would return it.

Q: Has anyone used this in a river or a lake?

Have not but I would be leery of really rocky(large rocks) bottoms. Sifter is very sturdy but it works best on sands/fine to small aggregate.
